Dude, again. For the love of God...what makes you think we could lure both Coentrao and Lahm to juve with now CL or chance to win the league? It would be easier for us to get kun than the 3 you mentioned along with all their insane contracts.
Aguero wanted 7.5M a year. That's relatively insane isn't it? Why would it be easier? Their positions aside, Kun is so much better a player then both of them so why should he come to us either? Chill your balls man its just a football argument. If the truth was so glaringly obvious than I would have run out of reasons to argue by now.

Ahmeds point is a rhetoric. It doesn't mean anything anyway because we are dealing with a different team with different weaknesses and strengths and possibly playing a different formation where we'll need excellent attacks from our fullbacks. Whatever stat Ahmed is looking at its based on their defense, which IMO came down to good CMs at the time. You don't need to be a genius to know that Molinaro was absolutely terrible going forward. He would be the worst thing for a 4-2-4.
So if you were to put Ferrara and Zacherronni and DN there they would have gotten 2nd place? LOL

I wasn't a fan of Ranieri, but he knew how to organize the defense. Add to that a Sissoko having the season of his life also takes the stress off the already weak full backs.

Your arguments only tie into the full backs...it's like the rest of the 9 players on the field do not exist anymore.

My balls are chilled, I don't like repeating myself. Look at how much Quag, Lahm, Hazard, and Coentraos wages would cost then tie into that how much we would have to over pay for them to play a year (or two) without european football THEN add to that their transfer fees and how much the clubs would rape us for the full backs becuase they would know finding a replacement to fill those voids would not be an easy task.

Quag, Lahm Contrao and Hazard would cost probably around 85mln while Aguero, Licht and Ziegler around 55mln at most. What is your point?
No it wouldn't. Coentrao went to Real for 22M, Hazard has been valued around 25M and Lahm should be no more than 30M. You put forward the short hypothetical and tell me I'm not making a point.

Saying all these things, we should try and get Marcelo from Real now that they are getting Coentrao.

He sucks defensively but he is a monster going forward.

77m dollars later plus insane wages they would want to keep them happy about forgoing bigger clubs already playing in europe? come on here, Ziegler is an upgrade, Licht for 12m is an upgrade and Inler in the middle with or without melo is also an upgrade and a better coach. Nothing wrong with these 2 full backs until 1-2 WC options become available...which right now in time are not, unfortunately.

Its as frustrating for me as it is for you that you're repeating yourself to me. What are their wage demands? Regardless. To have Lahm, Hazard and Coentrao would cost maybe just over 70M. We were going to buy Bastos for what? 18M? That's 7M for 10 times more ability and potential. I don't know what our budget is but if we buy Aguero we will not be saving much with the purchases of Matri, Bastos and Lichtsteiner as well.

Player's willingness, it's all I say.

Lahm = impossible. not much to be said, he just loves Bayern and we'd be a downgrade for him.
Coentrão = impossible. he wanna win and not reach CL football.
Hazard = as much as I dream about him, I think he's impossible aswell. Lille is in CL and I think he'll just leave next season for the likes of Real. He'd worth a try, though.

Well we don't look like we will try for any of those players anyway so I guess we'll never know.

If I had the chance of landing Aguero for 30 mln or Lahm for 30 mln, I would pick the latter.
whaaaaat, u must be joking, i guess that aguero is very underrated here, he's a one in million player, he's talent is indeniable, he's only 22, tha'ts liike 8 years of top football amid a serious injury, Lahm is liike what 27? 28 .? palyers liike aguero are hard to find.
Lahm is greaat player but u don't pass on player like aguero to bring lahm, especially in a team that lacks so much in creativity, pace .

Buffon
Lichtensteiner-Bonucci-Chiellni-Ziegler
Melo-Pirlo-Inler
Krasic-Matri-Kun

is a lot better than

Buffon
Lahm-bonucci-chiellini-Coentrao
Krasic-Pirlo-Inler-Pepe
Matri-Quag

My friend, not only I disagree but it's a horrible thing what you just said.

Dani's Alves Sevilla's would disagree with you. Inter's Maicon under Mourinho would also disagree with you. Cafu's Roma as-well.

I can give you 10's of examples or more when these full-backs won their teams too many points.
But all those players are/were not the most important players in their team. The attacking players were, naturally, because the whole point of the game is to score goals.

I don't understand why people think we're going to sign world class fullbacks unless you completely overpay for the likes of Cissokho. There just aren't that many class fullbacks available.

doesnt chelsea tend to play ivanovic as a centre back ?

and those names dont impress me, heck defensively, they arent much ahead of eighter ziegler or licht
He's originally a CB but has adapted to a pretty damn good RB (only plays CB when no one else is avalaible), one of (if not) the best in the league. You must be joking when you compare him defensively with Ziegler, Iva is a wall.
