We are standing as the only club that has made a bid for Aguero.

"The only bid we've received came from Juventus, via fax. But we won't release the player from one Euro, from the buy-out clause. If no one pays us the 45m €, the player won't go." - Miguel Angel Marin.

great, less time for finding a LB and LM starters...
Without mentioning the fact that Ziegler will probably be our starting LB next season and that Bastos will probably join too, are you aware of the fact that transfer market window hasn't even opened yet? So care to elaborate what you mean with 'less time'? Or do you think we should seal all the transfer deals before the market is even open yet? That's something not even Moggi did lol.

I think that Ziegler will be our starter and i consider it very unfortunate, i would prefer a less limited and more expensive LB to be our starter and not yet another Molinaro, Grosso, Traore.
It is a very well known fact that i ve been asking for an investment on that position since we have moved Chiellini in CB.
For years we have negletted this and this cause us caused us a of trouble and compromises our entire team's performance.
(limited LB => our left flank is really weak as a whole => one dimensional team => unbalanced team => compromises, inefficiency, frustration...)
We have been ignoring this systematically by giving it less priority and invest our time and resources elsewhere.

We have been paying for this dearly, but we have yet to learn smth from this, once again, we got a crappy free player and wish the problem will just go away...
This should be a priority, however it was rushed to chase a player, to prestigious for the average team, we have become, too expensive, too ambitious, too determined to be elsewhere.
I have always believed this to be a wrong course of action, our results show us the way each and every year, but we keep committing the same mistake.

Some of the members here have the wishful thinking that we know better, that we have learned our lesson and that Ziegler will be the one to replace DC, not our starter, i really doubt that, judging by the way our management have dealed with the problem since they took over.
But for Juve's shake, i hope they are right!

As for Bastos, i would be pleased to see him coming, thats what we should have done, instead of the Martinez waste.
But we have lost the opportunity to sign bastos, because again, instead of dealing with the issues we suffer the most (LB,RB,LM) we had other priorities and then we rushed this transfer and committed the Martinez mistake.
If we are saving money for Aquero or Pastore and they ask us an extra 5-7mil, guess which transfer is going to get axed??
There is a reason some of deals are not over, until we see what we can do about the big fish.

Of course we have plenty of time, as the transfer season hasnt even practically opened just yet, but the first steps to ruin it, is by committing the same mistakes again and again.
Not giving priority to the 3 issues that have been haunting since serie B, and cost stupidly conceded goals week in, week out is one of them.
Spending the majority of our resources and bargain time for yet another CM and SS is another one.

We have been doing this each and every season, since Moggi left and the signs for this season are loosely pointing at the same direction.
If we really sign Licht and Bastos, i will be pleased, for at least solving 2 of our 3 chronic issues, but i wont believe it, until i see it, as in the past we have been flirting with similar solution, only to see them poached by other teams, as were chasing unrealistic targets and then were forced to compromise again.

So far the hard facts are that we have bought yet another free and unwanted LB, 2 more mediocre CMs and we have agreed personal terms with a 3rd
and we have made an official effort to buy an SS,on Aguero, 10mil under his price tag, which is probably going to be the golden egg that we are going to chase for the entire summer, only to end up giving 35mil to sign Matri and Quaq.

I would like for a change to see us finding a way to create decent income from Tiago, Amauri, Sissoko, Grygera, etc
i would like us for a change to focus on the issues we cant solve for almost a decade now, the anti-Zebi and Zambro+Neddy heirs!
