Anyone else think this thread should be closed until there is some substantial news? If it were to reach 1000 pages and we hadn't signed him it would be pretty embarrassing imo.

Dude, at least it's about football. There used to be a thread here that had like a million pages and it was about some emo Milan fan named Nick.

saw an article right now saying that he is about to sign the contract with city in the next few days, and that atletico are going to sign rossi as his replacement...but there were absolutely no quotes, so at first i was really worried, but now its back to normal

Brutte notizie arrivano per la Juventus sul fronte calciomercato per quanto riguarda l'ingaggio del tanto agognato attaccante: in un colpo solo infatti il club bianconero potrebbe perdere due obiettivi seguiti con grande attenzione nel corso di questi primi mesi estivi, ovvero Sergio Aguero e Giuseppe Rossi. Secondo la trasmissione televisiva spagnola "Punta Pelota", il primo sarebbe pronto a firmare con il Manchester City di Roberto Mancini, mentre il secondo potrebbe finire proprio ai "Colchoneros", che vorrebbero tentare un colpo ad affetto per sostituire al meglio lo stesso Aguero. La Juventus, che sta trattando Rossi con il Villarreal, dovrà dunque tenere conto della possibile concorrenza dell'Atletico, anche se la volontà di "Pepito" è piuttosto chiara, ed è quella di giocare nella Juve in vista della prossima stagione.

Anyway, if Villarreal really aren't selling Rossi it makes no difference.
