Juve’s call from Moscow
CSKA Moscow boss Valery Gazzaev has encouraged Juventus to sign Serbian defensive ace Branislav Ivanovic.
The 23-year-old stopper plays for CSKA’s city rivals Lokomotiv Moscow and won plaudits at the recent Under-21 Championships in Holland where he was listed in UEFA’s Team of the tournament.
Ivanovic has been linked with a move to one of Europe’s giants and was reportedly a target for several Italian sides during the summer. Now, Gazzaev believes they should act on their interest.
“Juventus should sign him beacuse in my opinion he is ready for Italian football,” the 53-year-old Coach told Il Corriere dello Sport.
The Old Lady looked short of defensive options having been unlocked twice by Cagliari and may well search for new faces when the transfer window reopens in January.
Meanwhile, reports also suggest that Juve are lining up an approach for Red Star midfielder Segundo Castillo. (we are back for him,i saw this news on few sites)
The Ecuador international surprisingly announced that the Cadetti champions were interested in him earlier in the summer and sources now suggest that Claudio Ranieri has sent scouts to watch the 25-year-old.

CSKA Boss Recommends Ivanovic To Juve
Juventus have received a tip from CSKA Moscow boss Valery Gazzaev: sign Lokomotiv defender Branislav Ivanovic.
CSKA Moscow boss Valery Gazzaev has recommended that Italian giants Juventus power ahead with a plan to sign Lokomotiv Moscow defender Branislav Ivanovic.
The army side's manager said to the Correire dello Sport, "Juventus should sign him because, in my opinion he is ready for Italian football."
Ivanovic has been capped three times for Serbia, the 23 year old having arrived in Moscow in time for the 2006 season, Russian football being played over the summer.
He's played over 50 times for the Railway club, having previously served OFK Belgrade and Sremska Mitrovika.
Juventus do not lack defenders in terms of numbers, but some, such as Jean-Alain Boumsong, are considered surplus to requirements for first team affairs, meaning that the club could yet look to improve their back line.
What's more, Ivanovic is considered a versatile player whocould take part right across the back line.
At the 2006 UEFA U-21 Championships in Portugal, he helped Serbia to the semi finals, which they lost on penalties to eventual runners-up Ukraine.
The Serbs conceded three goals in four games, Ivanovic himself being named one of the top 11 players of the tournament.
