Our ability to play possession football has taken a huge dip this year, partly because of fatigue and I think it's fair to factor in the huge amount of times Giovinco gets moved aside when he's on the ball.
Agreed. It seems as if he hasn't found out how to play his skillset properly. When at Parma he wasn't seen as a threat as he is now and defenders take him out far too easily now when he plays for Juve. Giovinco will need to improve drastically this year or else i fear he isn't gonna make the first team once we sign a proper frontline by summer 2013.

lol, you are funny :) mirko is not selfish and can hold the ball, and set up play. whenever he is not on the field we suffer. gio will never reach mirkos level of play, never i tell you
Mirko has played a season more then Gio has in this juve. We play the same system as last year and vucinic was crucial then, and is now, but a direct comparison between gio and mirko isn't fair - giovinco CAN top vucinic but only if vucinic gets a season like the one last year

Difference betweem gio and Mirko is that when we play without Mirko we miss him a lot and play worse, and when we play without Gio only fanboys miss him and we seem to play better.

Both are shit right now IMO... in fact..our whole forward line is useless as fuck.

I would fire them all and playd el piero alone everygame.

Gio CAN top Vuci? Please tell more.
Gio is 25, Vucinic is.. 28?29? Vucinic played the best season in his career last year, and that by scoring around 10 goals. crucial goals but a fairly low number for someone who starts every single game.. I must admit my disappointment in giovinco so far but lets see if he can improve this year - if anything we will see in the summer how conte and marotta feels about giovincos position

What does age has to do with anything? Gio is no longer a prospect, he is an established player, if he's small doesn't mean he is young and has potential, we have what we see with Gio, and that is nothing to be exited about. While Vuci with his performances and 10 goals brought us scudetto last year.

And really argument you are making is awful, even if Gio was still young and had potential with this kind of performances he wouldn't warrant a place on the pitch just so he could play decent football three years from today.

I don't care what you stand by, I don't battle with your likes and you just proved that you've watched a total of 1 season worth of Vucinic in his career.
There are multiple factors coming into play when judging a player on his best performances. vucinic scored inhuman goals last year and saved us at crucial times. i watched him for roma when he scored against RM and almost all of romas games in 2010/11. But yes. apart from that i doubt either of us has followed mirko for his entire career. what i do know is that the past season he won the title with a winning team everyone tried to beat. playing for Roma is different like it or not!!!!!!
