Italy as an attacking threat were pretty much done when he came on anyway, and it's not easy for a player of his style to come into such a game. I didn't like the sub, I think Borini would have been a better option to play this role. Giovinco will be more useful trying to break a team down, which could happen in the next two games.

He didn't do $#@!, except that one pass. The pass was nice...but other than that he was ABSOLUTELY USELESS! No need to get mad bro.

He didn't play 90 minutes. He made real impact in the game, yes one pass.
Great ball to Di Natale, other than that.. meh.
Italy was defending rather than attacking, so you can't blame it all in a striker.
The Giovinco fans would surely be the first to say how great he is on the big stage had he done well. That's how it works.

I'm just commenting on every Juve player in the team..
Just like Marchisio fans who praise him for his Run and his Volley. Other than he was below average.

Nice to see someone has a brain around here...

Rest were frankly embarrassing posts to read.

I never blamed Giovinco nor did I say he flopped or that I thought he could've done that much better considering the circumstances, even though he made a few bad decisions. Had he played well, I would've come here to say he did well in the time he was on.

You're now saying Marchisio was below average, which is laughable, just because you want to make a point. I'm just stating what I saw, I'm not branding him a bad player nor am I a 'hater'.

Get over it, not all people bitch about this guy for the sake of it.

Like I said above.. I stated what I saw. He made a few bad decisions, did some things right aswell with that ball to Di Natale standing out. He could've made a bigger impact against a tired side when in possession even though Italy were near dead by the time he came on. I expected some better turns and runs from the little man.

I fail to see how that is embarrassing.

The truth is that when he came in, spain was already on control in the midfield, so we need to judge him in a game than italy wants to attack in the first place.

He did some good passes, the few chances he had the ball.

What he really need to understand is that when the team is not willing to get the ball and play offennsive, he needs to run his azz off and press the enemy line like another midfielder, because by waiting and walking while his whole team is not in posession and suffering, he will get nowhere..

Im pretty sure that if he comes here, thayt is the first thing conte will teach him.

I can't see how one would rate Giovinco's performance as poor. Of course he didn't score, but after he came on at least someone of the azzurri was trying to play at a fast pace. I was impressed by his agility. The spanish defense really had problems to get after him. In my opinion he could turn out to be a game changer.

Parma have confirmed that Inter are interested in Italian international forward Sebastian Giovinco.
The Nerazzurri have been linked with the player in recent weeks, even ifGiovinco’s co-ownership status between Parma and Juventus has yet to be resolved.
“We’ll soon meet with Juventus,” Gialloblu President Tommaso Ghirardi told Sky Sport 24.
“Up until now, there has been no way that we could start up any negotiations, but we’ll soon evaluate what will be the best for us and for Giovinco’s future.
“Inter are interested in the player, there is no need to hide that, especially as he is a player who scored 15 League goals this term as well as somebody who provided 15 assists.”
Giovinco was in action on Sunday when he was used as a second half substitute in the 1-1 draw with Spain at Euro 2012.
“To see Giovinco play with the shirt of the national side at the European Championship is a source of pride for us,” Ghirardi concluded.
