I never blamed Giovinco nor did I say he flopped or that I thought he could've done that much better considering the circumstances, even though he made a few bad decisions. Had he played well, I would've come here to say he did well in the time he was on.

You're now saying Marchisio was below average, which is laughable, just because you want to make a point. I'm just stating what I saw, I'm not branding him a bad player nor am I a 'hater'.

Like I said above.. I stated what I saw. He made a few bad decisions, did some things right aswell with that ball to Di Natale standing out. He could've made a bigger impact against a tired side when in possession even though Italy were near dead by the time he came on. I expected some better turns and runs from the little man.

I fail to see how that is embarrassing.

The truth is that when he came in, spain was already on control in the midfield, so we need to judge him in a game than italy wants to attack in the first place.

He did some good passes, the few chances he had the ball.

What he really need to understand is that when the team is not willing to get the ball and play offennsive, he needs to run his azz off and press the enemy line like another midfielder, because by waiting and walking while his whole team is not in posession and suffering, he will get nowhere..

I can't see how one would rate Giovinco's performance as poor. Of course he didn't score, but after he came on at least someone of the azzurri was trying to play at a fast pace. I was impressed by his agility. The spanish defense really had problems to get after him. In my opinion he could turn out to be a game changer.

The Nerazzurri have been linked with the player in recent weeks, even ifGiovinco’s co-ownership status between Parma and Juventus has yet to be resolved.
