Yet..... and you know why? Because Seba hasn't taken a decent chance like Cassano got during his Roma days, Seba's situation isn't as easy as some of you think.
Sebastian Giovinco plays for Juventus.
Antonio Cassano plays for Sampdoria and played for Roma and he failed at Real Madrid. Big difference.
Giovinco has done a lot more than Cassano looking at Seba's age and what he's done for the Azzurrini.
Cassano has had one good season (last year) since god knows when and he's what playing for Sampdoria? Not a big achievment if you ask me. As I see it, Cassano's got nothing on Giovinco, a little more time for Giovinco and patience and he'll put Cassano behind him... miles behind him.
Giovinco is a victim for having worldclass players around him. Cassano never had a worldclass players to compete him for a spot at Roma not even in Madrid let alone joining a team like Sampdoria.
Big difference between the two and I'm going with Seba because he's got things Cassano will never ever have.
Sorry Rab, I think you have some good points there but you're wrong IMO.
Giovinco played some good matches for us, but he had a chance and he will still get more because he's very talented.

If that's the case it only means big clubs aren't place for Seba...It should just make some things more simple for him. He had good matches for Azzurrini, no doubt about that. He's 22yo, people should not say he's still a kid. People of that age can or they already did achieve more than Giovinco. He's talented but I think he lacks something to get him to a level higher.

That can't be true. There might be a difference in NT games but otherwise I don't think he did.
Giovinco is one of my favorite Juve players but I can almost surely say that he will never leave a huge impact here and I hardly believe he can leave some player like Cassano miles behind him.
Cassano's world was never ideal and he had so many problems being a street kid while growing up. He doesn't have parents, Totti's house was his house and he was loved there but his brain was too small to realize that he's one of the best players out there so he screwed it (dunno, something like Adriano). His play in Roma was absolutely perfect at some level, his partnership with Totti was perfect when they used to play together. There were no mistakes and they used to make a lot of trouble for all teams. After some time, again his small brain had am impact of all his fights against coach and all Roma players. They couldn't offer him a new contract so they had to leave, to Madrid. He made too many problems, I didn't even expect him to play there which pretty much happened.
He might be Sampdoria player but that's no reason to underestimate him or even take that as an example of his success over there. He still has issues, so he'll never have pro attitude. He even said if he was normal he'd be better than Messi, well, maybe not exactly but I do think he'd be on the top because of one simple reason - there are no players with his talent, natural talent. He takes his game easily and it seems he's not even trying hard. His creativity and vision is beyond believable, there are no players that can do that. He might be slower than some, but his technique is a lot better than a lot of the players, by mile compared to Giovinco's IMO. If he was...normal, I'm sure he'd be best player in Europe, struggling with Messi now. It's his play that matters, I'm sure he could do the same, or probably even better job in some strong club, like Juve.
You took a wrong player to compare. He will never be as good as Cassano.
