If Giovinco was half as good as Cassano, no one would even be having a discussion of whether Giovinco was good enough for this team.
There are a lot of better players then Gio who i wouldnt want to see wearing a Juve jearsy.
Would you wanted CR9 or Rihno here? I wouldn't, I cant stand those kind of players and i could never get myself to cheer for them.
I respact pepole how like those type of players, but I dont want to see them play for my team.

Thats what i love about us, we almost never seem to buy those primadonas, egoistics, show me the money "superstars".

You said that he wasn't Juve material.

So, in your estimation, Trez, Iaquinta, and Amauri are better than him.

I'm not even touching Del Piero. I'm not in the mood to start a Juventuz holy war.

Giovinco is nowhere near Cassano's level.
Yet..... and you know why? Because Seba hasn't taken a decent chance like Cassano got during his Roma days, Seba's situation isn't as easy as some of you think.

Sebastian Giovinco plays for Juventus.

Antonio Cassano plays for Sampdoria and played for Roma and he failed at Real Madrid. Big difference.

Giovinco has done a lot more than Cassano looking at Seba's age and what he's done for the Azzurrini.

Cassano has had one good season (last year) since god knows when and he's what playing for Sampdoria? Not a big achievment if you ask me. As I see it, Cassano's got nothing on Giovinco, a little more time for Giovinco and patience and he'll put Cassano behind him... miles behind him.

Giovinco is a victim for having worldclass players around him. Cassano never had a worldclass players to compete him for a spot at Roma not even in Madrid let alone joining a team like Sampdoria.

Big difference between the two and I'm going with Seba because he's got things Cassano will never ever have.

Don't use where someone has played as part of the equation for pure talent.

Cassano is immensely more talented than Giovinco.

Cassano is probably the most talented Italian born forward since Del Piero.

There is nothing that Giovinco does better than Cassano. Nothing at all.

He's not a better scorer, playmaker, passer than Cassano

Cassano his the best at the moment, thats true but that dosent change anything.

Nowhere is a bit much, also half. Gio not as good, he got a lot of work infrot of him, but Cassano was considerd talanted few good years before he actualy proved it.
You can even argue that he became a realy good player only in the last 3 years, Gio got time.

and Salvatore, no i realy wouldnt want to see him here, in fact i would be very dissapointed. Every time i watch him play i want to see someone ( Sissoko hopefully in the 1/8 of the CL) break his leg.

There is a reason he plays for Real "money- no heart" Madrid. a perfect match if you ask me.

How can you compare the two when Giovinco can't make a first 11 spot at Juve?

With an inform Del Piero and Diego Cassano would need another decade to make Juve's first 11.

Cassano is good, is damn good but saying Seba is not even half the player Antonio is....is a bit unfair my man. And you're judging the boy after what playing some 97min in total?

Keep Giovinco at Empoli....and there you go you'll have the most talented Italian player.

Oh, you've got to be kidding me. Do you honestly just use numbers or location to measure one's talent??

Let me ask you this. Do you think that Giovinco would be receiving the calls from coaches and sproting directors around the world to be called up to the National team if he was at Sampdoria?

Do you think that the reason why Cassano has not been called up is solely because he is??

Being a Juve material is much more then having pure talent or skill.
I never thought i would need to explaine it to another Juve fan.

No, I'm judging him by what I have seen in all the minutes that he has played, and my argument about him all this time that I thought he would be nothing more than a "Super Sub" is starting to look more and more realistic, despite my hope to the contrary.

A wise American Football coach (Dru you will know exactly whom I'm talking about) once said.

"You are what you are".

And as of right now, he is what he is. Someone who cannot sustain a full 90 minutes on a consistent basis, someone who is extremely frail who gets knocked off the ball way too easily, and someone, that if he were to come in for 40 minutes at a time, has the ability to wreak havoc on the field.

He was really good at Roma, too.

Personally I think he should be in the NT. I never rate Di Natale never will Quaggy and the likes of Gila don't impress me at all. I think Cassano is good too good sometimes. But Giovinco is all about talent that's all.

Locations and numbers can play a role in player's careers Serg. That's a fact. Ask any footballer and he'll tell you.

I don't know if Giovinco would be receiving calls had he played at Sampdoria or anywhere else but since Marchionni made it I don't see why he wouldn't make it.

If there's one player I ever believed that can take Del Piero's place after he retires that is Giovinco due to his talent.
