Look, Giovinco is almost 22. I don't care what anybody says, if he really is as talented as pundits believe, then he should be ready to play. Don't give me any of this "late bloomer" crap. It's quite obvious that he's more talented than De Ceglie, not lets face it... this team in its current state does not take too kindly to players such as Giovinco. Quite frankly, we revolve around power and mindlessly simple four by four structure that Seba apparently does not fit into considering he doesn't play.

So unless he's fielded as a second striker, there is no place for Giovinco under Ranieri. As I've always said, Azzurri fans should hope that he goes on to Arsenal or a place where they give talented and creative players a chance instead of just hard runners. That is the most simple, true to the point explanation regarding this situation.

I think if Ranieri had been able to field his prefered two DM line up all season, we would have seen more of Giovinco.

With Tiago in midfield, I can understand why Ranieri chooses to play De Ceglie at LM, even if I don't necessarily agree with that decision.

But even when we had two DM's out there Ranieri was reluctant to bring Giovinco on.

Isn't it obvious that Ranieri sees Gio as a sub for DelPiero, and as long as he keeps drilling these free kicks in there will be no Giovinco
The guy just doesn't know where to play gio remember when he first said that he'll replace nedved on the long run (at the beginning of the season), What happened to that...
