I was afraid of this!
Meaning that he wont be a starter there, come back, not quite on form and still very weak/young in a time where he have to prove himself against all these high expectations.
This is the only way to ruin Giovinco's carrier and turn him into a new Criscito...

On the other hand, better be our sub, than their sub...

It would be great if recall Gio back, he can sit on our bench too and still learn more than he is learning now at Empoli, and not to mention that how useful he could be gor us.

We need to be cautious with Seba though. Don't put too much pressure on him too soon, it would burn him.
Look at Criscito. He should never have started the first matches. Should've been used gradually, let him grow into the team. But no, he started, made some errors, got criticized, subbed, lost confidence, and where is he at now?

Makes me think of an interview with Parreira commenting on the 1994 World Cup. He selected Ronaldo (who was 17 at the time), but didn't play him. Not because he was not good enough or anything, but because Parreira knew that Ronaldo would become a great player for Brazil in the future. And some bad appearances in a world cup could hurt him a lot. Ronaldo didn't play a minute in this WC, but became the player we all have known (until the injuries and all).

Same goes for Giovinco. The kid clearly has it. Talent, vision, pace, technique... he's brilliant no doubt.
But bringing him back in january, start him and make him our creative force could be disastrous for his carreer.

We have to think long term here. Sebastian could become one of the symbols of the next 10-15 years, hell yeah he could. So let's give him the time to develop and not rush anything. Bring him back in the summer, let him train with the champions, give him 20 minutes once in a while, play some coppa matches, do it gradually.

By the way. Is his passport for real? 'Cause it says he'll turn 22 in january. 22? Have you seen him? I'd say he looks like his 16 or something. But that only makes him even more special I guess. :p

I mostly agree with U Geof, but I would bring Gio back only cuz if he is not gonna play in Empoli than it would be better to sit on our bench and give him a chance occasionaly as you said, plus he will train with our top players and improve.

Sebastian to wear the number 12,i dont think anyone is wearing that number,if not then 22...and i really thought of wat Geof has said above, and yes its very true,i really dont want another Criscito here,Arsenal and Barca's way of playing their youngsters could be followed by Juve..
