guys giovinco could be as decisive as krasic but our fullback positions need to be sealed on BOTH sides... emphasis on one player like Krasic only exhausts the player and makes us predictable...eventually they'll know how to close him down...gio and krasic on the wings really could cause havoc with a serious striker in between

The guy can play in different positions. We haven't been that strong/creative on the left all season long with is exactly why people are asking for a LM. Along with an SS when absolutely needed.

So because our full backs suck we should by your theory let Krasic go too because he doesn't have a single clue what to do in defense (without the ball).

My theory?

My theory is that you can only afford to play with 1 all out attacking midfielder, if you don't exactly have the most disciplined midfield to begin with & play (as we do) with 2 attackers.
And Krasic is definitely only an attacking weapon for us, despite the fact that you see him running up & down the pitch.


But props to Giovinco today, he made the most of it. 2 goals scored is, resulting in a win for them, is obviously a good game. Regardless even of whether or not he did much else / more.

That 12m spent on martinez could have been a LB or a huge chunk of a good solid LB. That shiny new LB playing behind Gio doesn't look so bad now does it?
