Giovinco as good as Krasic, I've heard it all. I'll come back to this thread in a few months I think.
I didn't say as good, I said as decisive. Especially if he's part of a tandem. Krasic may be more decisive on his own but if you had serious attacking threats as a team not just on the right flank...I'd see Krasic and Giovinco performing within the same means as each other...

What aren't you getting? Who said Gio was as good as Krasic? What would be so bad about Gio and Krasic as our wingers?

Especially for this season, he's free ffs! Till we can focus or afford on Gareth Bale or whomever erects your banana. Lets fix the leaks on this sinking ship before we indulge in other matters...get em free where we can and focus our cash on what needs to be plugged...like the gaping anuses on the back wings

Performing withint the same mean? Isn't that saying they are the same performence wise?

Why do you people rate this guy so much? He is not young anymore, he will probably not have any drastic improvements in his performence it is very likely he is near his peak abiilities, so what do you see in him that makes him so special?

Ding Ding Ding!!! We have another winner!

This guy is on point today. Gio, though is not world class by any means would have done more for us this season (or at least the same) as Pepe given that he would have been given the same amount of playing time. On top of that, Gio was free.

Ok this is the plan..... bring in to proper full backs foronce and for all, sell al the garbage playeers starting with amauri, send melo to south africa 2010 and bring giovinco back to play alongside krasic.
Of course we need a proper striker also!!.

This need to be done asap.

Iniesta isn't better than Messi or on the same level as Messi is he?

But when they are put into the well-oiled Barca machine they can perform within the same means. THATS WHAT IT MEANS..both can get results...both can change the game, both can give assists, both can score...doesn't mean their numbers have to be identical or even close...but both can actually provide an attacking option to this team...not JUST RELY ON KRASIC or 1 PLAYER FFS.

He played well, I'm just saying he needs to prove it on a consistent basis and he has to accept the bench at times, which I don't think he will.

No he isn't young anymore. I can't fathom what he would have done for us given as much time as we have given Amauri considering how much he did do for us with the little time he was given.

Use good judgment here people. Gio is no Krasic, we all know this. But he is better than martinez and for the most part pepe as well. Pepe just tracks better back defensively. But had we not spend that massive 12m on martinez and what ever fee we paid to get Pepe we could have gotten a sweet LB.

I'm sorry, but from a business perspective. That was just bad business.

He always accepted the bench, he only got annoyed because he played less than 10 games the entire last season when our team was swimming in a sess pool

hell play him half the games pepe plays and he wouldn't be bitching

But we are not barca and we don't have a well oiled machine. He would be a liability in current situation on the left. First we would need invest so we could acomodate him.

And Pepe was a good signing, in my oppinion he is much better option the gio now.

If we got Gio back and we played him more than we did the last time around, I think he wouldn't mind at all sitting the bench if it was for a tactical purpose. Hell, if he was given as much time as Pepe has been given for example, I am sure he would be much happier than he was the last time.

People said he complained about being on the bench? I would have too given his little playing time and on top of that he still did his job well. He did what was expected of him, no?
