Krasic left him alone meters away. Nothing brilliant fro Giovinco there.
a goal is a goal. So when goals are not spectacular then they are deemed not important or worthwhile? I don't understand this logic. Legro's goal wasn't brilliant but it almost got us back into the game.

Ok so what did he do again besides hit 2 open nets? I give him credit for scoring sure, but why do we NEED this player again? He can only play one position, LAM. Great, how is that useful for us? He can be a sub late in the game?

He doesn't suck but he's not an impact player.

I'm not defending either of them. It's just not as glorious as some of you are making out.
I'm not making it glorious. What the hell guys? All I am is defending Gio's quality that he should have stayed and letting him leave came back to bite us today. Only fucking "today".

I would bring him back as a sub. I think he would be useful. And in some specific situations he would be useful from the start too.

We could have used him this year, but people are so inclined to think he wasn't "good enough".
Where could we have used him exactly?

At the left side of the midfield? Great, both flanks would have less than great fullbacks, accompanied by wingers / mids who don't have a single clue what to do in defense (without the ball).

Sounds like the solution to our problems.
