If reports are true it's definitely a goodbye. One season loan, then Parma will buy his %50, then they will extend it for another season. He will be 26. This should be some kind record. Giving player away for gaining experience until he is 26.
I just hope it's only loan. We'll need him when Del Piero retired.
I forsee him being called up to the NT sometime in this season. That would be sweet. And hopefully if he is, and does well, would be a clear indicator to take him back asap, because God knows we cant resist Azzurri players, hehe.
In a blind auction we could beat them, but if they can just buy half his contract for €3,5m next summer (using the clause) then he stays there for another season doesn't he? We can't buy it back/reject it?
I don't know the rules that well, but I'm assuming we can't really stop them from doing it.
