Giovinco's future uncertain at Juve
Friday 26 March, 2010
Sebastian Giovinco's future at Juventus depends on the club's rebuilding plans, according to his agent Andrea D'Amico.

The 24-year-old has made just five starting appearances this season, playing just 485 minutes for the Bianconeri.

He has struggled with injury recently, but the competition for a starting place with Diego and Alessandro Del Piero has also made itself felt.

Juventus also made a conscious decision to play without any wingers in the summer after signing Diego, slimming Giovinco's chances down even further.

Speaking to Tutto Mercato Web, D'Amico said: “Giovinco is on the fringes of the team and for me this is just unbelievable.

“For the future, we should sit ourselves round a table and see what happens. Seba certainly deserves a big club.”

When asked if Giovinco would be staying in Turin, D'Amico replied: “It depends on their plans. But it's better to think about the present.”

Finally, D'Amico launched a scathing attack on Juventus' decision to lavish nearly €50m on two new players in the summer.

“Perhaps instead of spending so much the Bianconeri should have had more faith in their youngsters.”

If he would go anyway it should be on loan with no option what so ever for that team to have him on permanent basis.

Elsewhere it would be a crap of a deal.

Sell to Germany. No Loans!
You'd love to see him play there dont you :D
Do I really have to explain. Fine, this guy surely has the talent but needs some trust and once he got that he'll be on fire, so it would be a blow to us if he managed to be that great yet having no option what so ever to bringing him back.

But if he's going on loan only(with no buy-out option) then if he did in fact show his worth there we would at least have a shot bringing him back or else finding another club for him.

I get so angry every week when I see Marin rocking like hell. This league would fit him, maybe Stuttgart could be interested since Hleb will leave at the end of the Season.
Well they made Moli look like A.Cole so that may just be the team he needs to get some confidence back. But that's as long as they don't have a buy-out option.

Loan without buy-out option is possible only for small sides.
So he one more time will go to another "Empoli", show class there and then... return to fkn Juventus bench!
We saw this sequence one time and do you want to see it one more time?

Or you imagine it like this: Seba goes to "Arsenal" (loan without buyout option), shine there, scores a lot o goals, gives assist, gets Golden ball etc, and then returns to Juve and commits his future to club that ruined some years of his career?

Seba is no child anymore. He has his rights for trust from team and coach. And show his skills there. I wish him to be in such team next season. This can happen in Juve, or not - it doesn't matter.

So where are 2 options:
1. Board apologizes for those morons that keep him on bench, new coach grant him first team place and Seba stay and shine here. :xfinger:
2. He leaves Juve without any desire to go back.

Other options are unacceptable for Seba.

It amazes me how our management continue to talk of Juventus' youth project despite their handling of Seba's career for the past few seasons. Fucking hypocrites.

And I just saw that he has played least amount of minutes of all the players in our team. This is so crazy.
Then ask yourself what our performances/results were like when he started.

Juventus 1-1 Bordeaux
Juventus 2-0 Livorno
Juventus 1-0 Maccabi
Juventus 5-1 Sampdoria
Juventus 2-3 Napoli
Atalanta 2-5 Juventus
Juventus 1-0 Udinese

5 wins
1 draw
1 loss

17 goals scored by the team in 7 games and we played our most convincing football in a large portion of those games, including what should have been a victory against Bordeaux. We'd have beaten Napoli if Tiago and Grosso didn't sabotage the game by themselves.
