I think Giovinco has over criticized here. Two below par games and a lot of you already want to sell him? It's ridiculous were can juve find a better option willing to sit on the bench behind Diego? I think the poll is stupid because it would be ridiculous to not trade Giovinco with Cassano. Fatantonio is the best player in Serie A
you can't say Giovinco is bad because he's not better than the best forward in the league. We should keep Giovinco and buy Cassano if Trez leaves in January. A team with Diego, Amauri Del Piero, Camoranesi, Giovinco and Cassano would tear any defence to shreds and play some beautiful football

Then why did Nedved always get to start ahead of Giovinco? And lets not forget we are comparing a 36 year old out of form Nedved to Giovinco.

Maybe he wasn't that bad. To be fair, he was average, but he definitely wasn't amazing. I remember he had 2 or 3 very good games with Juve last season. In one of them, he combined brilliantly with Alex but did not score. One of them was when he scored our winning goal after IQ chested it down for him. And that last one was when he came in as a sub against Chelsea. Other than those three games, he wasn't anything close to brilliant.

Not true. He was on fire whenever he played last season, especially in the first half of the season when he was still brimming with confidence. Confidence as always being the keyword, he is clearly lacking in it lately.

That's because there is no Nedved anymore and Ranieri is not our manager, it became obvious for him that he is a team player and pressure is on his shoulders. That destroyed his confidence and a talented player without confidence is simply useless. And as far as I saw, Giovinco does not have character, at least a character to shine among the bullying Serie A defenders.

Read pretty much the entire discussion here and I have to say both sides have good arguments.

I have voted no;

My questions to the people who have voted "no" are this

#1) Did you vote no because you feel that Giovinco is more talented than Cassano, and therefore a better player?

#2) Is it because Giovinco is someone who has grown through the youth system, and want to see as many home grwon products as possible?

#3) You just don't think Cassano is that good, and would do nothing to be of benefit to the current squad?

#4) Are you concerned that his arrival would mean less palying time for a certain someone whose name rhymes with Bell Valero?

5) Personal bias: I do not like Cassano. A lot of people seem convinced he's a changed man, I am not. It's not like there haven't been any incidents in his time at Sampdoria (admittedly that's a while ago).

So, I don't have a lot of problems with Giovinco leaving, although it would be sad obviously. I have problems with Cassano arriving...

People here don't even know Giovinco's position. Some say winger, some AMC, some support striker...

At this point in time, I don't think anyone knows his best position. How could we?

At this point Giovinco seems to me to be another Palladino or Miccoli, a special player with some talent but just cannot find the right way to live up to that potential.

So all it takes is two below par performances to be considered as Palladino

It's not his real position

When he played on Nedved's place - he's too weak to be a winger, he can't do it.
When he played behind striker - It's not his place, he should be support striker.
When he played as support striker - It's not his place, he played great against Chelsea as AML, play him there.

So it keeps repeating.

My favourite Kraftwerk track? Difficult to say, I guess one of Man Machine, The Model, The Robots or Radioactivity.
I'm not that fond of the original Autobahn recording to be honest, I prefer the updated version they're playing these days (can be found on the Minimum Maximum cd's I think).

Depeche have some very good songs, but I don't really like them that much in general.

I voted yes, not because I feel Giovinco is not a good player, but simply because Cassano is a magnificent player. He is currently, arguably, the best player in Serie A.

Having said that, it would deeply sadden me to see Gio leave the club, but for one of Cassano, Zarate, or Lavezzi, I wouldn't mind to be honest.

He was or they still do, drag Giovinco all over the pitch. I bet even people at Juve don't know how to use him but that alone can't mean something good about Giovinco. It's not like he came this summer so it's what kills me - he played for Primavera and now more than a year in our senior squad. It shouldn't change our formation but who knows if they will ever find and settle him somewhere.
He played good a couple of matches as both AML and AMC, maybe even as support striker but 2 matches later he's invisible, wherever he plays so they give him another new position.

10% of my head thinks that way too and I understand what you mean but maybe I want to believe he's changed duo to his better attitude. He never kept his mouth shut, not in Rome, nor in Madrid but he's different now, at least it looks so to me. He talks much less, argues on the pitch much less, no fights with team-mates or coach and he even started his training 2 weeks earlier. It's what makes me think he's different now. It's all maybe, but maybe he wants to play for Italy so he wants to keep it this way.

As for his play, people can't say he's doing this just because it's Sampdoria. He proved his worth in Roma, where again, he played with the likes of Totti and Batistuta. It's his play, he will keep playing it as long as his head is clear.

It's Cassano so yeah, there might be a risk always but when you look on the other side you get something else ; probably best transfer in Europe for 20mln euros, unstoppable attack and probably one of the most talented players you can ever find. Even though I like Giovinco I don't think he'll get on this ^ level, so that is my yes.

How about I just don't like Cassano very much. Regardless of Giovinco. Sometimes you just don't like a player. Zlatan is good, but I'm glad we sold him.

this is a hard one, will cassano be able to sit on the the bench for diego? or visa versa? if there not compatible.

i personally think giovinco and diego will work pretty well, but thats just a theory.
it really is a hard decision.
