Nedved again played the full 90 minutes and if Giovinco doesn't start against Reggina instead of Pavel I'll suicide bomb Ranieri.
What's your waist size? I'll start making a belt for you ;)

I know Wenger plays them young, but the Gio situation is just getting stupid now

Don't worry Sebastian, the Azzurri fans and a few Juventus fans got your back. We are declaring a fatwah against Ranieri to save you from this infidel. Don't worry, he'll be gone soon, Insha'allah.

Those hoping for him to start against Reggina, forget about it. If he won't start a game such as this, almost meaningless, he sure as hell won't start such a massive game such as the Reggina game. And Ranieri saying he' trying to protect him is bollocks. Marchisio and De Ceglie get a lot more playing time than him, so Ranirei's just being a damn coward and doesn't want to play such a non-defensive player.

Ranieri excess for not starting Giovinco was that he didn't want to start with Del Piero on the bench because it would of sent the players the wrong meassage that the captain was starting on the bench and the match would of been less important

we all just can guess what ranieris thought was, but i am pretty sure that giovinco would have come earlier if we had scored once or twice from our chances in the first half.

talking about meaningless, i think it would have been the wrong message to everyone if we started with a b-squad today. First of all, we're playing for the first spot. If we lost today, which would not have been impossible, then we'd have further pression against bate (and i mean, real won 'just' by 1-0 today against them).
Then it would also have been wrong to just ignore this match. We came after a defeat and it's important to strengthen the morale. Sounds bad, but it's just like that; everybody who practices sport knows what i'm talking about.
That said, i don't necessarily think that giovinco would have weakened our squad, it's just that it would be a waste of resources if we benched del piero right now, and maybe giovinco just does not suit the neddy-role.

And the fact that ranieri trusts more in DC / Marchisio is just not true. Marchisio plays because he needs to. We have too many injuries, and he's our only alternative in the midfield-area. As for DC, everyone's bashing ranieri because he played as LM instead of giovinco. Well DC is just the more defensive version. What's wrong with that?

So again, i want giovinco to play, but then again, you have to consider that there's no need to rush anything. We'll have plenty of time. I see no need whatsoever to put pressure on him as long as there are del piero and nedved giving such performances.
