Giovinco 'agrees Juve deal' Thursday 9 October, 2008

There are reports that Juventus have reached an agreement with Sebastian Giovinco for a contract extension.
Giovinco is one of Italy's most exciting rising stars and many see him as the future of the Bianconeri.
But the diminutive ace has been hesitant in signing a new deal, which prompted speculation that he could be lured away to one of his many suitors, such as Arsenal.
However, after a meeting in Vicenza last night, La Gazzetta dello Sport claims Giovinco has agreed a new five-year deal starting at around £600,000 per season.
The meeting took place in the same restaurant as Alessandro Del Piero's first contract negotiations.
Juve sporting director Alessio Secco arrived after his meeting at Vinovo yesterday and talks with agents Andrea D'Amico and Claudio Pasqualin progressed faster than expected.
An official agreement could be reached shortly once Giovinco returns from action with Italy's Under-21 side.
