I think all of you are missing the point here. Giovinco has played less than 5 games for Juve, as far as Juve is concerned, he has yet to offer anything despite the fact that we know he could potentially offer so much.

He needs to prove himself to Juve and he has to do so through the pitch, if he wants a raise, then he has to earn it just like everyone else. Moreover, the kid needs to stay level-headed. We don't want any Ronaldo-like mentalities here. If he loves the club, he won't mind a low salary for a year.

I don't have objections with what the board is doing. I think it's reasonable and fair. Giovinco will one day be paid a lot more, that is however, if he proves he's worth it.

He still has 'developing' to do... He is not a quality player yet
Our whole midfield needs an overhaul - especially this midfield selected VS Palermo

tried hard today and showed some good touches, but the lack of support/service from the central midfield will not help his growth as an attacking force

2 assists so far...he really deserves more than 500.000 imo

Correct me if i'm wrong, but did Del Piero's goal come after a Palermo player fouled Giovinco on the edge of the box ?
I think that's how we got the free kick and if it's the case then Giovinco played a huge role in all the last 4 goals we've scored.
Actually, we're talking about 3 matches here, where Giovinco played, and he was instrumental for all the goals we've scored on these matches.

I think it was Amauri who was fouled, for the free-kick goal. Giovinco was fouled before that, again close to the 16m, but nothing came of it.

Aha, nothing then. It would've been cool if he was involved in 4/4 goals but 3/4 is also good.

He was fouled many times against Palermo and at least 2 were very dangerous positions. With a player like Del Piero in our team and with our current cluelessness to create a chance, these fouls over Giovinco may be our best chance to get a result.
