He's been our best striker by a good margin this year, he's in the same spot as Marchisio where every bad perfornance is put under the microscope even if there's a lot of other players who sucked more than him but the get a free pass because they dont have Gio's past.

He is more like last season's Vucinic.

he is without a shadow of a doubt not good enough, he cant do shit, cant hold the ball, cant score fouls, cant dribble: hes just been horrible.
I do find his dribbling curious.

Whether he's trying to beat a man or just try to get the space for a cross or a shot, he doesn't move the ball far enough to one side or the other, so the defender generally has to do very little in order to dispossess him.

with the wingbacks taking up space and 3 middle behind him with another forward space gets tight.

Still think he does better (and mirko) on the left of a 433. More space, less congestion. He would receive the ball less with the goal to his back and defenders breathing down his neck.
