He must have the worst balance of any short player, normally that is a positive of being small, with the low centre of gravity and elusiveness. He is just so damned lightweight it counters that, and he gets thrown around like a child.

He really has to play in areas where he has space to run at players.

he had Dias in 1 on 1 two times today, where Dias let him turn, accelerate and come at him. Both time he got stomped.

He also had two occasions where he completely destroyed Biava facing goal, and should have scored the second. I'll judge him more against Biava because Dias only played 20 mins, and when it got tight Biava and Ciani had him.

Gio must learn to tone down his style on the pitch. His movement today was amazing, but this need to do it all, is hurting him and nullifying his strengths, which works against the team. If his decision making improves, it'll turn a lot of things around. He must understand he can be the most effective player on the pitch, and that can be achieved even by not scoring goals. He should observe a player like Insgine and he'll figure how to make his game time count in a manner that the team needs.

Gio dosnt come off as a humble character, and he is 25, so Its highly unlikly that he Will change. He just aint a teamplayer.

it annoys the heck out of me when he dribbles 3,4 and fails to score..if he would be stuck on the 1st def i would call him stupid and useless...so it's a useless gift

agreed he just does too much on the and when receiving it. Insigine is a perfect example because he deals with the same things.

he was great today IMO, he is growing to be the player we wished for, the only thing he lacked was a finisher/partner, hopefully Marotaa's replacement will fill that gap soon and Giovinco will bloom!
