After a second viewing:

It was never a red card, there was a foul on an Aberdeen player in the build up to Celtic's first goal and we were denied a clear penalty when 1-0 down.

Poor persecuted tims never get any decisions.

To the Scots:

If you have to choose, Celtic Glasgow or Glasgow Rangers as champion, which one you'd prefer?

No other options available.

Since it always goes between Rangers and Celtic, I am curious which of the two you guys prefer to end up as champion since the teams you and Red cheer for, aren't title contenders.

Ok, let's put it in a different way, if there were only 2 clubs in the league, Rangers or Celtic, who would you prefer to win it?
I am curious which team is hatest most by you guys.

sorry if i am being evasive,i hate both Rangers and Celtic equally

what? it's true!

Andy like myself i imagine, got into watching Scottish football when there was still some semblance of competitiveness to it. there was still a chance of Hearts or Aberdeen, etc being involved in a meaningful title race. the playing field is so imbalanced towards the Old Firm now it is nigh on impossible to break the stranglehold they have over the game.

the media facilitate this completely (at least in Italy you know what team each paper represents) by completely ignoring the other teams, unless they actually have the gall to put in a challenge to the Old Firm, the media then attempt to unsettle said teams top players by linking them to the Old Firm right before they are due to play them. Rangers and Celtic continually complain about the lack of competition in Scottish football but the second their duopoly is challenged they unsettle the clubs players (Webster being a prime example) throw a derisory offer the clubs way(think Hartley) then sit back as the player in question has a dip in form while desperate to get the transfer to "the club i always supported"

Rangers and Celtic claim they want competition but they will continue to unsettle players from any club doing well, snap them up and then bench them where they cannot do any harm to them. they don't want competition, they know that if they don't finish 1st or 2nd they are fucked

I don't follow Scottish football from close, but looking at your post, it isn't a big loss.
Never knew it was so unfair, almost corrupt.

the media only care about Rangers and Celtic, the set-up of the SPL is geared towards Rangers and/or Celtic being able to veto any changes that might harm Rangers and Celtic, the TV money is distributed mostly to Rangers and Celtic and as much as Celtic moan about the refereeing decisions they should try getting a penalty at Parkhead.

Scottish football is dead in the water, the only club with the fanbase and income to cause Rangers and Celtic trouble is Hearts but we have been mis-managed for so long we are (slowly) working our way out of debt. the rest of the clubs are simply getting by and the height of ambition is staying in the league and maybe, possibly qualifying for Europe

the Premiership would be welcome to them but it will never happen!
the will not want Rangers fans rioting in the streets a la manchester. or the Celtic fans who booed a minutes silence held for the war dead and did the same when the Queen Mother died. sure, the Old Firm games would make a good spectacle for Sky but the English fans/media and police would grow very tired, very quick of their troglodyte, knuckle scraping ways

Not much to add to what Boz has said.

I hate them both.

I, however, prefer the Old Firm to win the league every season, if Aberdeen can't win it. When the bigots win I can pretty much ignore it and say Aberdeen can't compete with them. It would hurt more to see Hearts/Hibs/Utd win the league.

I hope Rangers beat Celtic in the Scottish Cup at the weekend, because I think Aberdeen have a much better chance of beating Rangers than we do of beating Celtic, should we play them later in the competition.
