it was a tackle designed to trip him,NOT to injure him

and i reiterate my belief that if Rangers had taken Jelavic off straight away instead of having him running about with an injury for another 5 minutes he probably would not have been out for so long

It was a clumsy tackle and me neither think that he wanted him to injury but it was pretty stupid. And,yes, you can also blame those stupid Ragers for not taking him out immediatelly.

Black seems to have this "reputation" but he is nowhere near as bad as Lee McCulloch.
Rangers fans have been slavering all sorts of shit about his tackle on Diouf the other night,i was watching with my sisters Rangers "following" fiance (i don't say supporting as like most Gers fans i know he does not attend games,he simply buys the occasional top and acts like a smug prick when he hears his team won on the radio) and he didn't even think it was a booking
I say Black has a reputation, rather than saying he is a dirty player, because I think he's calmed down a lot over the years. He did some nasty stuff when he was still at Caley.

McCulloch is just an animal.

I haven't seen the challenge, so can't comment on it.

oh my god you aint all Morton fans are you?
 My mum was a Dons fan, so we 'supported' them. I think it was because we were 'anti-bigot brothers'. (And that Aberdeen actually were beating the old firm - we liked to see anyone beat them!)

Did I ever see Aberdeen play? Yes, but it was a long time ago! I latched onto Juve in the early nineties.

How was Miller doing before joining Bursaspor? So far he is doing great with Bursa, 3 goals in 2 matches.

He was scoring a shit load of goals for Rangers.

Well over 20 in the first half of the season, I think.

Seemed very stupid of Rangers to let him go for 500k when he may well be decisive as to their chance of winning the league.

These players are all meant to be coming to Galway United on loan/trial. They all are/were with St. Mirren. Has anyone seen any of them?

Jamie McCluskey
Jamie McKernon
Peter Bradley
Josh Horne

Transfer fee was only 500k?? Rangers are stupid indeed. How old is he?

McCluskey is a very lightweight winger, Curr.

Didn't look much good when he came through at Hibs, but I haven't noticed him in a few years.

Some other names are familiar, but can't recall seeing them play.

Good deal by them in terms of transfer fee.

Not so good that they are supposedly paying him £50,000 a week, which is roughly double his true value.

Thanks. Doesn't sound very promising. Our season starts in 4 weeks and we don't really have a squad.

Well it's not easy for Turks to bring good players there, Lugano for example, of Fenerbahce earns around 5 Million Euro a year. Ridiculous wages they pay, just to convince the players to move there..

he was scoring by the bucketload

however this season is an anomaly for him, when he first burst onto the scene he looked like he had a real eye for goal but his career has shown him to be a hard worker who is profligate in front of goal the majority of the time. enjoy the goalscoring run because chances are he will struggle for goals next season

McCluskey was at St Johnstone a couple of seasons ago, he had decent skills but far too lightweight and not really good at anything other than a few nice dribbles from time to time. He has been going around different clubs for a few seasons now but never managed to stick at any, think he had a trial at Partizan Belgrade.

Not convinced we're strong enough to take you on yet.

Mixu got it horribly wrong on Saturday. He played no ball winner in midfield and tried to play football on a pitch and in weather conditions where it couldn't work.

Aberdeen, due to Hartley's suspension, were able to play a high-tempo pressing game and Kilmarnock couldn't cope.

Still, it was a good performance.
