I don't see what was negative about that.

Also helped that Brown dropped Blackman (how the fuck did score so many goals for Motherwell?) and went back to the Vernon-Maguire front pairing that has worked well this season.

I really like Vernon.

He's up to 15 goals for the season and is just so relentlessly sensible in his movement and general play.

think Blackman was helped that the Motherwell wingers were very, very pacy and stretched the backline of their opponents quite well. Vernon looks one for the future

nice to see Zander "the ugly Tim" Diamond once again accusing a player of diving when he should really have been sent off, unliikeable cunt taht he is

There's no way that was a sending off. McArdle and Langfield were both between the forward and the goal. I can't understand why the Kilmarnock defender wasn't sent off for giving away the penalty.

Blackman doesn't run off the ball, he doesn't take up goal-scoring positions, he's not strong, he doesn't hold the ball up, he can't beat his man.

He just looks like a lazy waste of space at the moment.

But Brown later revealed Hearts manager Jim Jefferies had contacted him to clarify his rumoured interest in the centre-back, who is out of contract in the summer.

Brown said: "To Jim Jefferies' great credit, he phoned me today and said: 'I have not spoken to Zander Diamond but the possibility is, when I have gathered all the information, I will speak to him, but I will let you know'. You can't get fairer than that.

"Obviously we will offer Zander a contract.

"If it's just about money we might not be successful. But if he takes everything into consideration and is happy here and I hope he thinks the team is going places, that might influence him.

"But the usual deciding factor is financial and in that regard I think we would struggle to compete.''

Indeed.

I enjoyed the attack on the Twin Towers, because it was about passion and religious hatred too.

Strange comment.

Nothing wrong with enjoying a football match full of hard tackles, and players understanding what it means to the fans to win.

the old firm games always have needle, but then again so does the Edinburgh derby without fans needing to stab each other and management teams squaring up top each other

I love watching the old firm derby, However most times it gets a bit too silly with the flying in tackles and leaving the boot in, to hurt the opposition. Then it turns into a ''my dads harder than your dad'' affair. Cant argue with the passion at all. Piss ass league anyway. But its not their fault.

acyually it is ALL their fault, many teams have almost bankrupted themselves chasing the Old Firm who have raped and plundered every club for their talent by tapping them up,unsettling them and then leaving them to rot in the reserves where they can't cause any further trouble to them
