how they can call him a creative midfielder is beyond me. he plays upfront for barca. to me, he can be useful but is also another miccoli. they are like twins.

If he can play as the playmaker, then bring him in now...he is exactly what we need. but i hope capello isnt going to use him as a trezeguet back up because that is wrong. at the end of the day, Zalayeta still isnt good enough as back up.

appiah emerson nedved
saviola
trezeguet miccoli

all in form it looks nice.

4-3-3:
Thuram-----CB?-----Montero-----Zambro
Appiah---------Emerson
------ Nedved ------
Saviola-------------Del Piero
---Trez---

Trez stays in and around penalty. Del Piero can drop back to collect a little. Nedved goes froward but helps midfield defencively. Appiah and Emerson push up slightly. Zambro and Thuram make runs down the flanks.

Saviola = a second Miccoli = not needed
He's a lot like Miccoli, but then again he's even more like Di Vaio, in terms of style. If we want to replace Di Vaio with someone who's better and younger, but plays the same way, then Saviola is the way to go. The only problem with that is Di Vaio was a bench player for us and Saviola doesn't take the bench well.
