I'm against same sex marriages. Yeah you read that right. In fact I'm extremely intolerant about this. First of all I don't like the marriage as an institute. It came in handy hundreds of years ago, but the philosophy behind it all isn't of all that much use nowadays IMO. As for same sex marriages: all they do in my eyes is giving religion a kick in the balls. Now I know I'm usually a big fan of that particular move, but let's be fair, what good does it serve? If two gay men love each other why insult a community by marrying? No matter how you twist it, marriage involves religion and most religions aren't too fond of homosexuality. That's why it's beyond me why gay men would want to commit a religious act anyway.
