Agreed. Sagnol is a quality player. He has experience, he's reliable in defence and more than capable in attack. Overall he's a solid full back, he's not too old, and he's available for free. Sounds like a good deal to me.

If we do sign Sagnol he will join us in June but negotiations can begin as early as January. The word on the street is that Willy's French colleagues at Juve (as well as Robert Kovac) have convinced him to make the switch to Turin.
