Juventus star Pavel Neved was released from the Fornaca hospital today, but won’t be able to train for another week as a result of the head concussion he picked-up in Madrid.
This means that next Wednesday the Bianconero star won’t be able to help his club attempt to overturn the 1-0 loss suffered in the first leg.

The decision to force upon Nedved an ulterior seven days rest came in the wake of head-scans performed on the 2003 Ballon D’Or winner today.

Uruguayan prospect Ruben Oliveira will probably replace Nedved in Juve’s starting line-up.

Bad news but I think something similar to the Siena game will be on the pitch against Real, except for Tacchinardi instead of Blasi of course

It better be. Without Nedved, there's no way that Juve will get through by playing 4-4-2. If Cap throws Olivera in, we're simlpy finished. Therefore, the trident attack is a MUST! in Nedved's absense.

Juventus’ Pavel Nedved has been released from hospital - but there are unconfirmed reports that he could still be out of action until April.

The Czech ace was admitted to a Turin clinic for observation, after being knocked unconscious in Tuesday’s Champions’ League loss at Real Madrid.

Although tests have ruled out any complications to the accidental clash of heads, Nedved has been told that he will need complete rest for the next seven days.

That has definitely ruled him out of the big match at Roma on Saturday but his comeback could be still some way off.

Sources close to the Stadio Delle Alpi outfit claim that Nedved, who will undergo a further examination next Tuesday, won’t be rushed back into action.

There are even some stories which claim that the midfielder will not return until the April 3 clash at Fiorentina.

That would be a massive blow for boss Fabio Capello given his difficulty in replacing Nedved on the left side of midfield.

Meanwhile, David Trezeguet has recovered from illness and will be available for the Giallorossi fixture.

The Frenchman has missed the last two games with a fever but trained this morning with no problems.

He may partner Alessandro Del Piero in attack at the Stadio Olimpico, allowing Capello to rest a tired looking Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

    We are in serious sh!t. Only one man can turn this around and it's Del Piero. If he doesn't cut it now, in my book it's all over for him at Juve IMO.

    The French midfielder suffered a muscle injury which has jeopardized his availability for the second leg match against the Bianconeri.
    Real Madrid’s 2-0 defeat at the hands of Deportivo La Coruna could cost the Merengues more than just three points. The Spanish giants also suffered an injury blow to Zinedine Zidane during the encounter and the former Juve player risks of not making it in time for the return match in Turin.

    According to the first tests, Zidane will stay out for about 6 to 10 days, but there is pessimism in the Madrid camp that the player will be unavailable for a longer period of time.

    More definite tests will be carried out during the day on Monday.

    Actually we havent been too dependent of Nedved. We can manage without him. The "New Juve" has no irreplaceable player and so on. We are a team ;) 4-3-3 is the way to go.
