Still a long way to go and i’m actually not at all optimistic about what is to come next, plenty of the same bad signs tonight as well but it sure feels good to win a derby, one positive would be that we for once this season showed some of that positive nastiness that is needed to close down and see out certain games, hopefully we will be able to somehow at least string a couple of wins together from here on to not already completely jeopardize our chances of finishing in the top 4.
If I had any confidence in the consistency and mental state of this group I would take a lot from this game. Attitude, effort were totally different. But let's see in a couple days/weeks how they react when there is difficulty, a mistake leading to a goal etc.
If they gave the same effort all season at least embarrassments against Monza, Maccabi and Salernitana would have been avoided.
Glad the for win, I hear we barely strung 3 passes together all game. Fingers crossed we can continue to cobble up whatever points we can from this abomination of a season.

Yeah, sure its all on the players. That miserable excuse of a human being seating in our bench has no fault at all.
Can you fall any lower with next allegri apologetic post!?

Just as its not all of the players, its not just Allegri. It starts from the top to the bottom.
Its everyones fault. But one is certain, our club has big and serious problem and its in the locker room for more than 2 years. Sarri didn't say it out of nowhere that this players are not trainable.
Its fucked up if you give players power, they have to learn they can't choose coach or board/president no matter who's the coach.
Its like refusing to work because you don't like your boss/owner of the company but you wanna get payed and call the shots

No, I am just happy when Allegri allows them to start trying and win a game here or there. Fleeting moments because soon he will stop allowing them to bail him out with their individual brilliance. Like against Maccabi - one game he allows them to score 3 and miss 5 more goals, 6 days later doesn't allow them to create a single chance. That's why

If anything of how you see the situation is true.. Allegri is the hprotector
Allegri should THROW those players under the bus like Mourinho did with ManU or Tottenham.

If rumors are to be true, these players didn't even want to go into a ritro. They don't give a shit about the shirt or the club. 80% of them are has been which want to chill out with their big check and expecting to call the shots. Imagine throwing them under the bus, I'm 100000% certain they'll all have 'muscle' injuries or call their lawyers to find a way leave the club. We are not talking about Buffon, Chiellini, Del Piero, Marchisio etc...
Our Captain is former Milan player (captain?) who celebrated his goal against the club who made him a player, ffs he left because he was benched (rightfully) in a game where he didnt deserve to play and made a lockroom fight in a CL final..
Our problem is not just Allegri. Look what it means when you have quality player on the pitch (Di Maria in some games) etc.
Next time they reflect, Agnelli should look into a mirror and point a finger there.
Nobody will fix our problems. We need CB's, LB, RB, 2x CM, LW, RW, ST and a GK.
This should be our priority number one and we need MONEY to do it, build the new 'galacticos' in order to generate cash like RM, you can't go finishing without bait.
if it's right at the middle of the preseason it's fine, even expected
however 2+ months into the regular season it's ridiculous, inexcusable and inexplicable. those people who prepare these players don't deserve their salaries

I see the situation that both sides are to blame, but given the context of previous seasons and previous coaches I am inclined to side with a proven coach and a club legend instead of players who have literally done nothing yet for me as a fan.
Reporting around is probably too inflated, Allegri isn't a finished coach and players aren't totally giving up because if they were downing tools they don't show up with tonights effort.
Unless you can with a straight face watch the two games against Maccabi or tonight and Maccabi and tell me the approach and effort is the same then I cannot accept only coach is to blame. If the same effort is not there every game then clearly the players too aren't doing enough.
Effort is literally the only thing an athlete can control all the time, in any sport. Them disliking their boss or "not understanding" is no excuse for that.
Player and formation choices, tactical mistakes, substitutions etc. are all the things Allegri is to blame for, but unless they show the same work ethic in every game from now on nothing is going to help them
