Yes, that makes sense. So a low yield nuclear device deployed to a certain orbital region would render devices that can't withstand the radiation useless within a certain time period. That would suggest to me that Russia is also working on hardened devices as well. I'm sure we are, too, or maybe even have them, who knows. But at the end of the day that's a very inefficient way of eliminating satellites already in orbit for a preemptive strike because 1) it would be easily detected and 2) it would also impact your own devices over time. So while it's a threat, it sounds like a very Russian one, if you know what I mean. Sort of like flying balloons everywhere. Good thing we have the Jews on our side for the space lasers.
