Engaging in slippery slopes is kinda nonsensical especially in this situation because it would result definitely with the end of Russian civilization completely, and end of civilization as we know it.
Not engaging with Hitler would’ve meant the end of most Slavic people and jews also.

Putin needs to be dealt with one way or the other. If the West appease him and let him have Ukraine, well then he wont stop there.

I hear what @abstract is saying and its similar to the Middle East in ways like Syria where the civilians are at the mercy of the multiple nations intervening. For those people, its the best option to surrender. Same applies to Afghanistan where the Taliban are so brutal that its better to surrender.

The issue with Ukraine is that neighbouring countries or NATO could help but they're not, they're watching this happen. If a large collective were to send troops or drones, missiles or whatever, it would force Russia back. That is the point, other nuclear capable countries could flex their military muscles here and there is that hope.

holy fuck

Next up, camps.

Holy shit, is this video legit?

And comparing this to Bosnia situation is kinda different but at the same time similar. But as another one here who survived the siege of Sarajevo, wathching this in Ukraine is really disturbing and hurts to the bones.

I really don’t see a way out of it, Russia won’t back down and best case scenario could be endless war in Ukraine where we will have Russians who will control Ukraine and rebels fighting against them, kinda like Afghanistan style.

Also, I applaud you @Juventino[RUS]

@Elvin from the perspective of the civilians, everyone will be a madman even if some parties are trying to help.

@Post Ironic I'm not blaming NATO, all I'm saying is that if there were say NATO troops in Ukraine, Russia would be hesitant to engage because the implications of attacking NATO are huge. Right now Russia is happy to kill anyone that is Ukrainian because they're casualties of war.
