I obviously sympathize with the Ukrainian people, but this is a different situation where a nuclear power is invading another country and is not showing sings of backing out. I'll take the deal to prevent more bloodshed.

like we did in the 90s
Hitler would’ve won WW2 with this view.

The West appeased him again and again, he only saw that as weakness and continued invading and annexing countries.

Not saying I want the war to go on, but men like Putin only understands one thing.

It’s not without reason he’s called Putler. This guy needs a beating one way or another. If you let him take Ukraine he will just continue.

Shit holes be shit holin'. Fuck that country too.

The fact that Mexico, and UAE prior to that, declined to take action is concerning. Saudis have so far resisted the pressure to increase oil production as well. That indicates a relative weakness in Western position. Hope it doesn’t spread to other countries.

Using nuclear weapons isnt an option here. Its to close to home.

If we had surrendered at the beginning, Bosnia as a country wouldnt have existed now. The fact that many brave men from Bosnian army sacrificed their lives is the reason you have a country, how ever fucked up it is atm. Unlike in Bosnia, Ukrainians are united to fight the opressor. I applaud them for it.
I don't think the comparison holds. The fact that Russia is a nuclear power changes everything. The west is deterred to send adequate help that would be effective against Russian invasion.
If Yugoslavia was a nuclear power things would look different today. Again, all sympathies to the Ukrainians fighting the opressor, but a deal is the only way out.

Bankrupting Russia is the other way. Comparing the sanctions with Iran or Venesuela is crazy, this is another level entirely.

Engaging in slippery slopes is kinda nonsensical especially in this situation because it would result definitely with the end of Russian civilization completely, and end of civilization as we know it.
