How so? Not sure its that simple, especially if it goes against the public's interest. We don't really know what the majority of Russians think of this war, and I don't think interviewing Moskovites or Russian expats in Europe will give you an accurate picture of the feelings over there. Its a big country after all. Moscow protests won't solve anything nor will it scare Putin. The only chance of things changing is if:
A: Putin's circle turns against him
B: He gets assasinated
C: Public support across the country as a whole wanes

You certainly overestimate Putin's influence in Latin America and especially Venezuela. He has nothing to do with the current regime in Venezuela maintaining power.

And Venezuelans had it really good before they got fucked to this point. One of the richest countries in the region and it still didn't lead to a revolution.
