You’ve been implying all through your posts above that no one has any understanding of this but you.
It’s very simple though. Putin is murderous tyrant trying to tear down a democracy because their citizens having better lives than his is an existential threat to his power. It has absolutely nothing to with NATO, considering NATO is in several countries bordering Russia already and has not once threatened Russia. He’s afraid that the example of an independent Ukrainian democracy with first world ambitions will weaken his grip. Pathetic turd of a human starting a war over such shit.
And we all bash America constantly. I’ve made countless posts bashing America’s history of meddling and foreign wars. That has zero to do with today. People need to stop the idiocy of “but America” in justifying or lessening the atrocity that this is. The focus right now is this. Not America. If you think America isn’t a punching bag for criticism and bashing around the world for things it has done, you are the oblivious one.
I don't think people generally feel too threatened by the situation. People are just mostly sad for Ukraine and disappointed in Russia. Our nation went through a very similar thing with Russia in the 40s but in recent years the relations have been very good.
This has definitely added fuel to the NATO discussion and I see a lot of people campaigning for the possible NATO membership on social media. However I don't think it's currently something that is going to happen in the very near future. More likely is that we'll wait for the dust to settle and then have an open debate about it and then a possible referendum.

If you dont commit war crimes, genocides, you have nothing to fear. When has Nato invaded or threatened to invade democratic country? You hear these threats from dictators like Putin on a daily basis but you somehow equate the two. That is weird Id say...

Because they, you know crazy dictators wouldnt build a base for defensive purposes. I cant believe this is even up for discussion. The only countries that would enter any military alliance with Russia would be authoritarian ones with equal teritorial pretensions.
Probably in favour of joining NATO, but I don't think this is the right time for such referendum. I also think we need to maintain our own ability to defend this country no matter whether we're in NATO or not. There are too many countries that are overly reliant on NATO for protection.
We have been waiting for them like 80 years now, I would say we are threatened but it's nothing new. People here finally want us to join Nato but that ship has sailed already.
It was like 20 years ago when I said that as long as our neighbour is fucking Russia, we need to join Nato, you can never trust those folks.
This is again false and dispelled at international court for war crimes. And again you are selective. War in Yugoslavia didnt start in 1995. What has happened for 3 years on occupied territories, how many Croats had to flee their homes, or were killed? Similar to Russian Ukrainian conflict, you have enabled rebels for 3 years with constant military and economical support to preform ethnic cleansing on occupied territories.
