Imagine China and Russia make a military joint, similar to NATO, do you seriously think western European countries would allow their military base in or next to their country? You think the US would ever allow somebody like that make a base next to their border? Of course not. Anybody who thinks different is lying.

NATO is by default a threat to Russia, without a doubt. When or if it comes to a war there won't be pressing a button for nukes instantly, if anything it will be a last resort, and there's no way in this world a nuclear weapon is a guarantee for peace and no war. That's pure BS.
True. But Nato isn't really a threat to Russia, that's just Russian BS. Nato exists because shitholes like Russia are still among us. Only Russian faggots believe that Nato would attack them. And for being that stupid, they all need to die.

Those are authoritarian regimes, which is a massive difference to security Id say.

and who have they invaded so far? Like I said, NATO is a defensive coalition.

It has nothing to do with NATO turning their planes and attacking Russia over the night. Look at people all over the world. It's majority flatout morons. You think nuclear weapons are a guarantee for peace? That's a joke. If it comes to a war, and imo it's not IF but WHEN, how can you think Russia being surrounded by NATO bases is not a threat? That's just bullshit. You literally surround the country, making it easier for everything.

Like I said: There's 0.00000% that Germany, France, UK or the US would ever allow an eastern military base next to their country. They would consider it a threat. I just don't see how people can't realize same goes vice versa.

My country is surrounded by NATO. Of course they aren't dropping bombs on my town at the moment. I don't expect them to do so. But if a war starts, we'd be first country they stomp instantly since we're surrounded by them. It's just a fact. We're a shithole and we can't do shit about it but you can't push your finger into Russian ass and expect them to stand still. Again, had they done it, the reaction would be just the same.

No one is forcing countries to join Nato, but they willingly join because it is huge deterrent for dictators to go to full blown war against 30 members of alliance. They have no teritorial pretensions. You dont hear threats from its members to Russia. They try to deescalate, not escalate situations.

Why would there be nuclear war in the first place?

I was just quoting parts from the previous discussion since people mentioned the nukes as a guarantee for peace which is bullshit.

Democracies vs dictatorships - huuuge difference. And none of the NATO countries has expanded its territory with wars in decades.
Russia is an aggressive, militarised pariah state.

I get your point but you still give me a strong Russian vibe, maybe you're a double agent?

NATO expansion -> demkcratic countries asking to join
Russian "expansion" -> occupy with force / buy the political elite and ensure they stay loyal to Putin
You make it sound like Russia expanded right next to Germany.

Of course it was done willingly but it's a fact their bases spread and became a threat for Russia. They expanded.

Yeah good luck to those two tyrant countries convincing that they aim to protect your country. Only dictarorships would join that alliance. That is the main difference you seem to fail to see.

It's not expansion when you're invited.

Willingness is not something to just brush off. It is a crucial factor.

It is only Russias ass for Putin, cause he's still living with the old borders in his head.

For everyone else It's free countries joining NATO to get protection from the mad russians, for which they don't need to ask Moscow first.

And looking at what happens to the Ukraine just now, they weren't exactly wrong.

I'm just being realistic.

IMO anyone who thinks big coutries would allow east to build a base next to their country is a moron. It's just not possible imo it's fact. I think same goes for the other side.

If there's anything I like about Russia it's them being orthodox like us and their literature. There's no way I enjoy any single death nor any evil that Ukraine is witnessing right now.

Wtf… the biggest nato base in Europe is on Kosovo against UN resolutions.

how does that answer my question? NATO didn’t invade Kosovo, they’re there on a peacekeeping mission because the citizens of independent Kosovo want them there. Ask anyone in Kosovo how they feel about NATO and they’ll say nothing but good things.

Whatcha talking about? If Ukrainian people agreed to have Russian puppet dictator installed to terrorize them on Putin’s orders, they never would have been invaded. 100% Ukraine’s fault. Should never have become democracy and asked for protection from insane dictator to the North.

Ask anyone in Donbass how they feel about Russians in Ukraine. Ffs its so obvious I dont understand the reluctance to see things for what they are.
