I'm from Poland. But it's the same and yes. I think without NATO countries like Baltic States and Poland would be a target sooner or later. I even think they still might be in a few years if Putin gets what he wants from Ukraine unpunished.

It's even worse for Baltic States actually because they were a part of his precious holy USSR empire and Poland was "only" a puppet state.

I have a love and hate relationship with the United States. Hate their foreign policy, love the science and entertainment part. Always disliked US wars in the Middle-East

But there’s no denial that the United States is key to European safety. Although I sincerely hope that Europes becomes more self sustaining, as seen now with the gas/energie crisis.

Even then it would a false equivalence….. USA invaded Iraq, who was ruled by a military dictator who gassed his own people (still wrong, and a contemptible action). Russia is invading a country with a democratically elected government. The USA invading Mexico or Canada would be an equivalent to what is happening right now.

Sadly there is no hope for Ukraina because Europe,Nato and Usa had to move before the actual invasion and send men to support Ukraina.

So West already gave up on Ukraina and next war ground gonna be Taiwan.
But as I wrote TSMC produce 60% of world wide of high end semiconductors which are needed for any fking tech right now.
