@Seven Don’t wanna talk about Marxism-Leninism again. It’s all smoke and mirrors, slogans and kumbaya. But under the hood it’s just a Russian soldier with a rifle pointed at your family.
Gotta run, time for procedures.
Exactly.

My point is kind of that at least they had the smoke and mirrors and pretended to be about something.

My point isn't really about the people involved. I'm sure there were awful people fighting for the allied forces.

But if you look at the ideals and goals of Nazi Germany, yeah well, that is sheer evil.
The ideals and practices of German Nazism were no different to those that had been applied to the peoples of the global south by European colonialism for centuries prior. This includes (but is not limited to) genocide in South West Africa by the German Empire, European antisemitism and pogroms in Tsarist Russia, and the US's racial policy and genocidal settler-colonial expansion (lebensraum being the German version of American manifest destiny). This process and ideology only became "fascism" when it was turned onto whites/Europeans themselves, before then it was just "normal".

https://www.politico.eu/article/germany-unveils-e500-billion-defense-plan-as-security-threats-mount/

"BERLIN — Europe’s most powerful economy is poised to take a major step to bolster its defense capabilities, with Germany’s Chancellor-in-waiting Friedrich Merz announcing a plan to partly exempt defense spending from the country’s constitutional fiscal restraints.

"In view of the threats to our freedom and peace on our continent,” Merz said Tuesday evening in Berlin, the motto “whatever it takes” must now apply to the country’s defense.

"The political developments in Europe and the world are evolving faster than we anticipated just a week ago,” Merz said. “Germany and Europe must now undertake extraordinary efforts to ensure our defense capabilities."

fingers crossed.

I'm sure Trump's decisions serve his business interests. And frankly what does he care about consequences anyway? He'll be dead soon.

But I do think we've reached a point of no return here. On a diplomatic front it will take the US decades to rebuild trust, if it ever happens.

just to remind you where you stood on this matter

and this is where we are now:

your "art of the deal" president has literal blood on his hands buddy

Literal? As if there's a president/leader in the history of the world who doesn't?

As for Ukraine, just is the case with Palestine, no matter how cruel or unjust your aggressor is, there has to be a point where you have to sue for peace.

That has to be the biggest mind fuck. What’s truly sad is living in a hermit kingdom and not knowing your in Ukraine and simply think your in a training exercise. Out of nowhere you see something sci-fi you never seen in your life (fpv drone) come at you and explodes in your face. Sitting ducks with no technology just men with assault rifles in a “training exercise”. Funny yet sad.

Nah man. If you let Putin get away with a land grab like that, he'll just keep trying again. This fucker can not be trusted. Signs a treaty today, attacks another country tomorrow. Guys like him only understand brute force.

rhetorical question: why didn't putin make any peace proposals, other than either ukraine capitulates or no peace?
