he is currently 7m gross, which is around 3.5m net. Im not sure what we can call hefty these days, but I woukd sign him on 5-6m net.
Why would he get a raise though ?guy has been injured forever and will surely miss 2-3 month until the summer…. We miss cabal and Bremer already while danilo looks to be sold. Another stupid decision

Araujo’s last seven seasons:

18/19 - 3 games missed
19/20 - 0 games missed
20/21 - 21 missed matches
21/22 - 17 games missed
22/23 - 23 games missed
23/24 - 8 games missed
24/25 - 22 games missed

A total of 94 missed matches.

insane, we can't possibly be considering a guy who has, somehow, already missed 22 matches from injury this season, can we? Please tell me this is fake news.

What would even be the point of signing this guy? So Bremer has a friend at J medical?

Market opportunity. It’s always the market opportunity. Doesn’t always work well but it’s a low cost solution. Just sucks that lots of cases doesn’t work well.
