What sense does that make

city made the superior offer to arsenal, very likely the much superior contract to rvp, who'd probably start next to aguero and silva

city also has a much superior team compared to, lol, man utd.

they also just won the epl

i see him rather reject us cause not rating italy, or arsenal wanting us cause no league competition

i dont see a reason to pick man utd over city.

Considering Man Utd, ended second place. While Arsenal third, and both are top clubs in England, then i would say they got a Juventus-Napoli Rivalery

At what point in the last several years have Arsenal strengthened themselves or even had a big enough net spend in a summer that they would have had a chance to strengthen?
And yet they ended in 3rd place in PL ahead of Chelsea, Tottenham and Liverpool.

I dont agree that they dont see ManU as rivals. Of course they do. But I will say that, I think City and Chelsea will end up in 1st and 2nd place next year, while its more open from top 3 to 5. I wont be surprised, if Arsenal beats ManU for 3rd place.

Not quite sure what countries version of Sky is reporting that. But it says nothing of the sort here in England!

If it's not reported in England then it obviously must not be true.

A mile behind the top two. A club of Arsenal's stature finishing top 5 is nothing special...it's expected. The rest of England is weak as shit.

I have said it ten times already, Arsenal wanted Melo when we got him and they were trying to get him in an exchange deal. So why don't we use this chip now? Krasic would not refuse to go there either.

Melo is no longer interesting for them I guess?
And agree about Krasic he and Walcott have some similarities.
Melo rather go to Spartak Moscow and Galatasaray than Arsenal? I found that hard to believe.
Krasic would go there in a heartbeat as well, but you're right that Arsenal have Walcott.

But also, Walcott is on the Market. A 10m offer plus Krasic would be a fantastic deal for us. I just don't see how RvP and JoJo are improbable. JoJo will be earning as much as Krasic here. And besides with Krasic, Melo and Matri on the Market, we can easily get both players. A line up of Vucinic, Quag, Giovinco, RvP and JoJo would be one of the most balanced in Europe. Though what we'd likely end up with is, Vucinic, Quag, Pazzini, Giovinco and JoJo, which might be a little less spectacular but a little more realistic keeping the circumstances in mind. But if there's one mercato we can and should be going for the juggular, it is this one. and we should seriously consider going all out.
