Well nothing is 100 percent until its signed on paper. There's a lot of evidence to suggest we are probably number 1 out of any club to win his signature. We need a world class forward, we have been linked with Rvp in the past and apparently showed interest in him( therefore he would respect us a little bit more then clubs that have just been interested in him due to this seasons form). His dad did not say we were out of the running in that statement he made, giving hints he has not out ruled Juve. He said " I want too win the champions league after the Euros" in a receant interview. Agnelli has said that he would like to see Juve win the champions league next season ergo Rvp could have been dropping a hint. Barca,Madrid,City allready have top class forwards and Rvp would not necessarily be the number 1 target man at those clubs something he would be at Juventus. Arsenal have a strict over 30's policy and are tight asses when it comes to wages. He is not English so maybe he would prefer the Italian culture to the English and not feel it is his "national duty " to stay at Arsenal. He is approaching the twilight of his career and is currently peaking he knows that Juventus are a club on the up and Arsenal's project is failing due to their boards inability to bring in re-inforcements and give their more well known players pay rises(Their board is fine with it because their making money and Arsenal has become too much of a profit club and not enough of a trophy chasing club in my opinion) Also Arsenal is sponsored by Nike as well as Juventus which would please their company
