Why do people think this move is not possible? If for a minute, we remove Manchester $#@!ty from the equation

, I'd like to think there's a lot of talk signalling a big possibility of this move taking place. Starting with Arsenal's 30m fee, which is well in the region of what we are looking to spend. Very clearly, both Higuain and Cavani, would cost more from their respective clubs given the bargaining power Napoli and Madrid will have with time on the player contracts too. And just as importantly the will of the players in question.
Higuain and Cavani would both be offered a similar salary package of about 6m if reports are to be believed but neither would come cheaper than what we can get RvP for. The latter is being offered 7m plus bonuses by Juve and he wants 8, which IMO is a negligible point in a 3 month negotiation window. I personally think and believe that if RvP is Conte's first choice candidate as reported, then we will move to close the deal. BouchraVan Persie recently said she preferred Turin to Msnchster and I think it will be a consideration the player will definitely take into account. In fact, if I'm not mistaken, he himself said that money isn't everything and he wants to win a few trophies now. His visit itself was a good indicator. Yes, City will give him the chance to do that, but seeing what ajuve just accomplished, we would be able to offer a fair opportunity ourselves.
A lot of people may differ with this view, but I think, off all the candidates, RVP looks a fair possibility. Arsenal will want to sell him out of England. He would be within our price budget, his wife likes Turin. There's a lot of press about the player and club, it's got to be coming from somewhere. Even though I don't think we'll know anything before the mid or end of July after the Euros.
I was initially against the move, but I have a feeling RvP will do well here against expectations. And to be honest, he's the only striker of the lot, who should be valued 30m or above. Cavani and Higuain will have inflated prices which we shouldn't pay.
This idea is growing on me, and I think it could be a good move.
