€15 million RM paid for Ozil who had only a year left in the contract.

35 M for RVP who sucked balls in Euros it's just ridiculous. They can fucck off! Maximum we should in cash is 20 million.

People need to get with the times. We are in fucking 2012. If someone like Lewnadowski is going to cost 20 Million Euros, then RVP is probably going to go for 30, and that's cuz he's nearing 30 and on the final year of his contract. Had he been 27, and with 3 years left on his contract, he'd cost upwards of 40. That's just the market for you.

It's all fine and dandy to keep splashing 12-15 million on good players (not world class), but if you want to get world class ass, you need to splash the cash. It's as simple as that. Marotta needs to realize this before going out and promising a top player, only for us to end up with Dzeko (who is a good, but not a top player, and definitely not World Class)!

Vucinic cost 15 million Euros, and he's nowhere near as consistent or as prolific as RVP; moreover, he plays for a shitty national team so hardly gets exposure in major tournaments :p

The bottom line is RVP for 28-30 Million is a fair deal, and much better than Dzeko for 20!
It's not a fair deal at all. If Arsenal don't sell him for a decent price this season, they risk losing him for free next season. Hence why his price would and should be down from his normal value. The only club (of note) who'd pay the asking price of 30 million is City and I doubt they'd buy him (personal opinion). Unless he wants to play for PSG or some other newly rich club.

I don't speak Spanish but using google translate: 'The Dutch striker Robin Van Persie is new Juventus player, arrives from Arsenal.'

:agree:

Never mind that he's also the most overrated player on the entire forum. Last season it was Aguero. Can't wait to see who it will be next summer.

Aguero and Rvp are not overrated, they are one of the best at what they do, and what we'd need them to do.
So no, they are not overrated in this forum.
