What gave you that feeling? Was it the 37 goals he scored this season playing in the centre forward position?
 yes my thoughts exactly, of course he can be used there which will be great but arguably the best proper striker in the world right now would not be wasted on the RW.

The vast majority of his goals this year came from 6-12 yards in front of the goal, including a few penalties, and excluding a couple of freekicks and great long shots/volleys. Many of these goals were virtual taps in brought about by his movement and the play of the wide attackers cutting to the byline in that Arsenal front unit. So if we were to replicate those conditions for him we'd need wide players who can also do that.

True, he needs a Walcott. Maybe Giovinco can do that if he comes back, or someone else that comes to mind is Luciano Narsingh. The new Elia in Dutch NT :p

Meeh...I never really liked Van Persie. Fantastic player and all, one of the best out there....but despite all of his amazing characterisitics that make be one of the best in his trade, is that he is simply a loser. Man can you imagine having some Dutch (known to choke) + Ex-Arsenal player (epidome of loserness) + Juve's horrible luck in finals...this man is gonna make us cry!

In all seriousness though, I'd much much much much rather have Higgy. Higuian, Cavani, Gotze, Suarez, Munain then the rest if whatever.

No, I want Robin van Poesje at Juventus. I want this club to be defined by championship-choking assclowns with glass ankles who cost ridiculous amounts of money and attract the most douchebaggy footie fans in the world.

No. I just feel that in tracking to win the ball back he will have a tendency to drift wide in Conte's system. I could be wrong but given the defense oriented italian league where he will be shut down, he will try moving wide to create space for himself. And you're surely not assuming 37 goals coming from the Epl to the serie a is a fair yardstick for what he will in all likelihood do here. Anyway, I think there are better options out there nonetheless.
