RVP is a true top player and I don't buy into all this injury BS and that he's too old. He just played the most games of his career plus with our current awesome injury management (or rather avoiding of) I can't see him getting another big injury here. As long as he is managed well at the Euros and he gets a full pre-season here training under our methods that reduce injuries he will be fine. And fuck off with the age BS too, we signed Nedved at 29-30.

RVP will fit better as a wide player in this team. That's just the feeling I get, given the amount of tracking back the count will expect of him. For me personally, I still think Suarez will work best for our team if the 433 is going to be our predominant formation going into next year. For a 352, it would have to be Higuain/Cavani. RvP is 29, but even if that's not as big a detriment, his wages and injury history would be. For me anyway.
