2010: Dzeko
2011: Kun Aguero
2012: Van Persie

three years in a row that Beppe fails to sign us a ''top player'' while in the meantime we have spended more on the likes of Matri, Giovinco and Quagliarella.

3 times someone was sold way over his worth as well, so don't complain...

3 times we bought someone way over his worth as well

Matri - 16M
Quag -15M
Giovinco - 11M.

That money should have been spended on a star striker over the years.
Giovinco not worth 11 mil is a good joke. Quags and Matri may not be worth that much.

And you suddenly forget the MUCH MORE expensive salaries we could never ever pay.

giovinco was the most complete second support striker in the league last season.

So we should 've played without an attacker for 3 yrs now ? Giovinco not worth 11 mil is another good joke.

Beppe started with being reluctant to our striker need 3 years ago.

Beppe gave away Trez and more or less the replacement striker was Quagliarella (Diego wasnt a striker to begin with). He got injured and Matri came to replace him. 30M further we have them both and none of them are good enough to be a starter, no surprise there.

Now we'll replace one of Matri or Quags with Pazzini/Llorente, meaning we'll repeat the same mistake to some extent and I wont be surprised if we're looking for a top striker again in the summer of 2013

the fee was too high as well. the player clearly stated that he wanted to leave and city just didn´t give a fuck and paid the release clause/the amount athletico asked for. obviously it turned out to be a really good signing but at athletico aguero "only" was a very, very promising, almost great player and not the absolute WC player he is now... city can take those risks, we can´t. at least not now.
same goes for jovetic. i love this player and he may become one of the very best... but paying 30mio cash right now? just no..
