He's obviously trolling city if that's indeed how much he asked.. good for him.. get fcked city.
If we sign RVP i can guarantee you it will not be for anything more than £150,000 PW. Hazard had agreed to sign for us but he tried to change at the last second and get more money and we said no chance and told him to get stuffed. That's why he ended up at Chelsea. We are not going to be held to ransom by players and agents anymore, you will see. In all fairness we are now the Premier League Champs with a squad capable of competeing on all fronts, players will want to join us for more than just the money now, If they don't then there will be other world class players who do. I believe RVP is more about the chance of success than the money.

In England Today there is a headline saying Juve still very much want him with quotes from Marotta:

Juventus general director Giuseppe Marotta admits they know what they need to do to land Robin van Persie.

Sky Sports revealed earlier this month that Juve are leading the chase for the Arsenal captain, who is also wanted by Manchester City and Manchester United.

The Gunners have received offers for the Dutchman, who has confirmed that he has no desire to extend his current deal which has one year left to run.

Van Persie is understood to be considering his options with a move to Turin firmly in his thinking.

And Marotta admits that they are trying to seal a move which they consider a "fans' dream".

"Everyone has dreams but then you have to confront this with the reality.

"We know what we have to do, and that is the important thing."
Jovetic

Should their bid for Van Persie fail, then Juve are also keen on Fiorentina ace Stevan Jovetic.

But they seem insistent that they will not pay the €30milion fee that the Florence outfit are demanding for the Montenegro international.

"Fiorentina want €30million for Jovetic. Everyone is free to determine the price they want for a player - but we have not begun any talks with Fiorentina," he added".

His dad was askedwhere his sons future lay and used City as the example because we were the most talked about destination. He said he wouldn't move to City because he wouldn't play for another English club. That also means United... So only Juve are in for him then.
Do you reckon RVP would want to be the star man with us or in rotation with use? I mean you guys have Kun, Tevez etc who I would take over RVP all day everyday, he wouldn't be guaranteed first team football with City. would he want that?

Why would you take any of City's strikers over RvP? He's the best one of the bunch hands down.

Your opinion, I guess. If he went to City I'm pretty sure he'd be first choice however. It'd probably be him and Aguero starting most games.

Why would he bench Agüero? They'd probably be put into the same team.

Actually, that's stupid. Why do City even want anyone else? They're playing football manager here.
That's what I said. It'd be him and Aguero starting most games :D

I just wanted to emphasize that he(RvP) would be a definite starter.

But yeah, they don't need him. They may want him.

Haha, I was just outraged and didn't finish reading the post. Yeah, RvP and Kun, with Carlitos and Džeko hanging around.

Who knows what Guidetti must be thinking...

Aguero is immense. At 23 years old he scored 23 goals in his first season in what is probably the worlds best league (depending on opinion of course) and that's without playing at his very best, he has only shown us 70% of what he is capable imo. His movement and class on the ball are both exquisite, he's so much more than just a goal scorer. It says something about him when Leo Messi says he thinks Kun is the best in the world (obviously he wouldn't say himself lol).

Tevez is also ahead of RVP by some distance in terms of the complete package. He fights harder than any other player in the game for every ball and he is just such a great player. but ofcourse his judgement is poor in terms of the advice he takes and he cannot be trusted. He says he is happy now and he looks strong in training but he could easily start moaning again when the cold weather comes in December and become a disruption. A fit and Happy Tevez is better than RVP everday imo though.

Dzeko i love as a guy and there is massive talent there. He could be an Ibra type player if he focused more but i fear he hasn't done enough to impress and he will be sold to Milan, Shame really but that is where the room for RVP will be made if we do end up with him.

Then there's Super Mario. Utter Genius, completely loveable but also so infuriating. If he develops the way he should he will be a legend... Or he might end up retireing at 22 and converting to Scientology and moving to Alaska to hunt bears with his bare teeth and a sidekick called Parker... It really wouldn't shock me about him.

So as you say, we don't "need" RVP. But if we move on Dzeko, He will fit right in. If we don't get him however and we keep what we have, I'm still very happy :)

Yeah i saw it too mate. But it's not about what his dad thinks, It's about what RVP wants and what he thinks is best.
