Oh damn that's far north. Almost as far as Trondheim :D

EDIT: no it's not, I thought it was up here somewhere.

I attended a High Performance Computing conference, held annually at the National SuperComputing Center in Linköping.

Not that far..., but the city is in a bay that dreates this snowstorms almost every year. 7 years ago we were cut of and got 2 meters in 2 days. They flew in help with helicopters...:D
So what do you do for a living?

At the moment I work for the IT division at the university in Trondheim, dealing with HPC equipment. But I'm thinking about going back to school next semester.

Never touched it. Mono is open source dotnet, been meaning to try it but I don't really need a gui app right now and that's what it's for. The last few months all my coding has been java and python (also read up a bit on lisp).

Seen a bit j2ee though, roughly the same as dotnet in what you can accomplish (sans the cross language compatibility).
