I saw the game and ref was fair all match but he spoiled it in the end by extending the match for 6 min. When the six min passed he prolenged game until Spain got that bloody goal:(
Spirit of Franco still carries on I'd think:confused:

Isn't it lovely to live in a country where football's controlled by such a lovely lads. Well, you wouldn't know, excluding compatriots obviously. 0-4 home defeat's not enough for sacking the coach, or for coach to draw his own conclusions. But no, it's perfectly fine to start qualifiers with the 4th spot in the group as a target. Why the hell even bother to play in the qualifiers if your goal is not to qualify.

Bosnia played 1-1 away to Spain. We got two red cards, and they scored in the 97th minute :groan:
That is some kind of good news for belgium. Now we can reach the second place, and even the first place isn't impossible anymore.

I really hope we'll qualify, if we fail it'll be the first time sice 1978!!

Really though group I must say: Spain, Serbia, Lituania, Bosnia, Belgium, San Marino :D

I knew about the qualities of Spain and Serbia, but Lituania and even more Bosnia impressed me! They have very good qualities and are difficult to defeat.

To qualify we need four victories in four matches: In Bosnia, home vs Spain, home vs San Marino and away in Lituania.

BTW I read that Trapattoni offered his services to Belgium, but they rejected his offer because 1) his wage demands are waaaayy too high 2) we already have a NT coach 3) they want Belgian coaches.

Allez les Belges!

Lord I hope it the Belgians make it over Spain. They deserve it way more given their WC track record! They should have knocked out Brazil last time too. As for Spain.. what do they have to show for? :howler:

Come lads!

We might even meet then at the actual tournament, if we both make it. Then again: you'll have to get in line behind the Czechs who just won't leave us alone :lazy::D

..

Just watched the Argentina-Brazil game. What a game! Brilliant football by both teams. Great Goals by Crespo, and Saviola was damn brilliant.

Roque Junior was pathetic. Cant believe him and Ze Roberto are still in the NT for Brazil.

Don't talk to me about self destruction. The group with France, Ireland, Switzerland and Israel (+ Cyprus and the Faroes to make up the numbers) has been a a succession of matches where we've all taken turns to shoot ourselves in the foot. Ireland lead 2-0 at home to Israel, and someone mentioned Milan and a certain final. Robbie Keane gets injured, goes off; bang, bang. 2-2, it finishes. After we'd conceded an equaliser around 90 minutes to the same buggers in Tel Aviv. Sure, this time their keeper spent the entire second half playing "injured", but it's not bloody good enough. I imagine the French (who drew with everyone in France) must be about ready to shoot their players. They're third or 4th in a 1-horse & 2-pony race.

The French are just about hopeless enough to miss out on the tournament this time. Heads will roll if that happens, they haven't won a game in ages.

I'm starting to like them again now under Van Basten but the last two eras under Dickie and Louie were just terrible!
Yes same here, though I tend to disagree with some of Van Basten's decisions. His consistent inconsistency, regarding Van Bommel's includance in the team, namely. Seriously, how can he prefer De Jong over Van Bommel ?!
