Iran 1-0 Bahrain (we got revenge :D )
N.Korea 0-2 Japan
Kuwait 0-4 S.Korea
SA 1-0 Uzbekistan( 80th minute)
-------------------------------------------
Iran,Japan,South Korea and Saudi Arabia were qualified.
Saudi-Uzb ended 3-0 (it was 2-0 at 80' Ale;))
So Japan, Iran, S. Korea, and SA made it to the finals....The 4 giants of ASIA....its a shame that Asia has 4.5 berths while there is maybe only 4 teams worth of qualifying....while a continent like Africa full of talent and strong teams have only 5 births!

Anyways we made it to the finals for the 4th time in a row...i just hope that this one isnt a disaster like 2002...and hopefully the boys bring back the days of 1994:D

Kuwait 0-4 S.Korea
:extatic:

Great game from my boys; the hottest young player in Korean football Park Chu-Young opened the scoring and won a penalty for the second goal, then Park Ji-Sung completed the rout with a very cheeky lob over the keeper when everyone expected him to cross the ball :strong:

Bosnia played 1-1 away to Spain. We got two red cards, and they scored in the 97th minute :groan:

I hate corrupt refs :frown:

N.B. I didn't actually see the match, so I don't really know if the refs were fair r not, but from what I can see, they weren't.

 Another storied and glorious vict... er... I mean draw in the annals of international Spanish football.

If Inter were an NT, Spain would get my vote for the closest fit.

Spain is a joke, and I would be completely amused if they fall short of going to Germany next year.

That'll teach 'em not to talk such rubbish about the Italian game. ;)

I saw the game and ref was fair all match but he spoiled it in the end by extending the match for 6 min. When the six min passed he prolenged game until Spain got that bloody goal:(

This is what SkySports had to say...
Nigeria needed a late goal from Obafemi Martins to secure a 1-1 draw in Rwanda.

The Internazionale striker (pictured) fired home with just 11 minutes left to save The Super Eagles' blushes after Rwanda had taken the lead through Jean Michel Gatete on the hour.

The draw means Nigeria are still top of Group 4, but they are now only ahead of Angola on goal difference.

Angola took advantage of Nigeria's slip-up following a 2-1 win over Algeria in Luanda.

Goals from Amado Flavio (48) and Fabrice Akwa (58) put Angola in the driving seat and Nasreddine Kraouche's (66) goal proved no more than a consolation.

Elsewhere in Group 4, Peter Ndlovu's penalty on the hour gave Zimbabwe a 1-0 win over Gabon in Harare.

The win means The Warriors are well on course for African Cup of Nations qualification as they are clear in third.

DR Congo and Ghana both closed to within three points of leaders South Africa in Group Two.

DR Congo romped to a 4-0 home win over Uganda.

Shabani Nonda's helped himself to a brace, while Ngasanya Ilongo and Matomona Zola also pounced to seal victory.

Ghana also got their hopes of World Cup qualification back on track after they secured a 2-1 success over Burkina Faso.

Moumouni Dagano fired Burkina ahead on the half hour, but second half goals from Stephen Appiah (65) and Matthew Amoah (81) secued victory for The Black Stars.

In Group 1, Senegal failed to find a way past Congo in Brazzaville, as they were held to a goalless draw.

Senegal are now two points behind leaders Togo after they thumped Zambia 4-1 in Lome.

Monaco striker Emmanuel Adebayor fired the hosts in front on 12 minutes, but Gift Kampamba drew Zambia level just three minutes later.

Former Livingston star Sherif Toure restored Togo's lead just before half time and Abdel Coubadja added a third on 65 minutes.

Sheyi Adebayor wrapped up the win with the fourth goal two minutes from time.
In the other game in Group 1, Mali picked up their first victory of the qualification campaign with a 4-1 win over Liberia.

Dramane Coulibaly set Mali on their way with the opener after just minutes from the penalty spot and he doubled the lead with his second on 34 minutes.

Souleymane Diamoutene netted a third on 48 minutes when converting from the penalty spot.

Shelton Barlee pulled a goal back for Liberia just before the hour mark, but Lyon midfielder Mahamadou Diarra wrapped up the win with the fourth 15 minutes from time.

Egypt boosted their qualifying hopes with a 6-1 demolition of Sudan in Group 3.

Abdel Ali broke the deadlock after just eight minutes and Amr Zaki added a second 20 minutes later.

Ali made it 3-0 on the half hour mark with his second of the contest and Zaki got into the act with the fourth five minutes after the break.

Tarek El Saeed grabbed the fifth for the hosts on 63 minutes and Ahmed Eid piled the misery on the Sudanese with a sixth goal on 71 minutes.

Haytham Tambal netted a consolation for Sudan nine minutes from the end, but it was not going to spoil Egypt's day.

In Group 5, Guinea picked up a 1-0 win over Kenya to leapfrog them in the standings.

Sambegou Bangoura grabbed the only goal of the game 12 minutes from time to give Guinea all three points.
So can someone tell me what rule FIFA's using now... Head to head or Goal Difference?
